I went when I was a kid when it was still "The Focus Center," and I am 30 now, but it was a spectacular place with tons of fun and educational discovery opportunities! I think every kid (no matter HOW young or old he/she is) would enjoy a day here.

Neat little hands on science center for kids. We took our 3 year old grandson last year and he thoroughly enjoyed doing the Hanson activities even if he didn't understand some of them

Our daughter is a college student now but she has many fond memories of the science center. With her much younger cousins in town, we made a return visit. They loved it. We stayed about an hour and that was just about perfect. The new location has a lot to offer. Our daughter really enjoyed seeing all of her old... More

This is the second year we have taken a break from the beach to visit the science center. My children, under age 7, love the exhibits. You have to be willing to read and explore the exhibits yourself and help your kids. My family loves the unique feel of this center (and reasonable price!). The staff is friendly and helpful.... Lol this place was so tiny! , if you have small children then go for it, at least there's A/C, otherwise it's not worth the 10 minutes

The Science Center's move to larger quarters was supposed to bring a bigger, better facility. We counted (at least) 8 exhibits that were not functional and another 2 that were only marginally functional. Very disappointing!!!

After visiting other science centers in New Orleans, St. Louis, and Gulfport, my kids were entertained only for a little while. There are some interesting exhibits, but not a large scale display. I was a little disappointed.

My kids (4yo twin boys) and I made a visit to this science center today. We are local to the area but this was our first visit. We were entertained for about 1.5hrs. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. I didn't pay big city science center admission so I didn't expect a big city science center experience. My boys... More

Family visited here on a rainy day while staying at Seaside for the week. Do not let the outside of the building deter you from visiting. The staff was very welcoming and exhibits are fun for young kids. (Our group consisted of 5, 4, 2 and a baby.) A remote controlled kid sized robot is located in the lobby and... More
