Okay, so I grew up going to the pacific science center in Seattle so a lot of places pale in comparison with that. This place is tiny but they have a fun robotics exhibit right now. Most of the grabber robots could use a few more things to grab in an area they can get to them. There's an outdoor... More

I brought my 5 year old to the museum just to get out of the house and do something a little different. We both had a great time! The room with the reptiles and other species was the biggest hit for my little one! The bubble maker and remote control robot topped the list also!

Needing a break from the beach midday for our young grandchildren (ages 4,6,7), we were delighted to find this wonderful hands-on science center. It is small, all on one level, but packed with great interactive, educational and fun activities for all ages. Kids can touch everything, try everything - bubble tables, building, puzzles, making electricity, robots, gravity ramps, microscopes, animals... More

This is a wonderful place to take children ages 3-18 for self-directed learning through exploring. Loved the small animal room, the robotics, the mystery piano and the bubble maker. Don't miss the outdoor area with the turtles! Plan a minimum of 2 hours. Boys are already asking to go back!

This was a nice little place to go if you have small children. Some of the experiments were not working. Staff was friendly and my son had a good time. I wouldn't go again unless I had a small child.

While smaller than many of the science museums we've visited around the state (thanks to the reciprocal membership benefits of ASTC museums), this one was fun for my 4 and 10 year old. The best part were the robotic arms that could be controlled to pick up and move balls and blocks. There were several. Besides that, there were numerous... More

The kids seemed to enjoy it. There was lots to do but most the stuff wasn't working right or at all. Kids enjoyed the ball bounce, bubbles, and building area the most. I thought the invisible piano was really cool. Kids enjoyed the robot hands and picking different objects up with them. It would've been a lot better if everything... More

Wow, what a good place to visit. I had 5 children with me ages 7,11,11,14,14. We had a great time. All the displays worked and were interesting.Even the parrots were friendly.

This place was ok. We went there because it was raining. It's a place you go once and then don't feel the need to go again. If your kids are into science they would enjoy it.

We ended up taking our kids to the Science Center one rainy afternoon (there isn't much to do in the Destin area when it rains) and it was a good way to keep them occupied for a couple of hours. The price is reasonable, but the place is pretty old and run-down. The kids don't seem to mind, and there... More
