Had a day in the Fort Walton area and needed something to do, so we searched and found Gulfarium. It was a brisk day, with light crowds but the place was well maintained and spotless. The staff was as enthusiastic as if it were the peak of tourist season. It was $16 I think for Florida residents, and we spent... More

We visited on a very cold day. It was awesome! Our own personal sea lion show where we were able to give them commands and feed them. The same experience with the dolphins, we were invited down to the dock, got to meet and learn about a pregnant mother. I don't think this is a typical experience, but I'm sure... More

I am an animal exhibitons manager at a zoo, so i am "desensitized" when it comes to animal interaction. This place was still awesome, anyone who doesn't like it is just a hater

We were there during a Veteran's day special so got in half price. For 21 dollars it was fantastic, for 42 we would not have been as pleased. The exhibits are behind plastic that is dirty and hard to see through, so it was difficult to see the shows. The dolphin pen seems small, I felt sorry for them, although... More

Pretty amazing hands-on aquarium! Once in a lifetime experience! A must for everyone in the area! Our 10 year old loved the dolphins.

I can't say enough about the great time we had. I did the dolphin splash encounter and it was worth every penny at full price but in the off season they offer a half price walk in special which was probably the best value of my vacation. Zach, Amanda, and all the staff were not only welcoming and knowledgeable but... More

This is not Disney or SeaWorld. There are 26 exhibits and several shows, the main ones are the seals, sea lions and dolphins. The animals do some simple tricks for food, although when the dolphins jump, it is indeed awesome. Otherwise an ok visit. Smaller children should enjoy this more than teenagers.

The Gulfarium in Fort Walton was one of our many stops during our Destin-Fort Walton vacation. The dolphin show was pretty good and luckily for us there wasn't a crowd. If you're thinking this is comparable to something like SeaWorld, you'll be disappointed. We did not have any children with us so we were not looking for something spectacular. The... More

The Gulfarium was a great place to visit with my son. We really enjoyed the Dolphin show! My son enjoyed the entire experience, especially the "petting" area.
