The Gulfarium was a great experience for our entire family--ages three to 60 plus--and was very kid-friendly. The shows were entertaining and the staff friendly. Gulfarium is a "must-see" if you're in Ft. Walton Beach or nearby. We give it five stars! more

First, we were blown away by the prices. Very expensive! But, we thought with such a high price that we would get a big bang for our buck. Nope! The animal shows are 15 minutes or less each. There is a dolphin show, a sea lion show and a mutil-species show (which is nothing more than another dolphin show). The... more

I cannot believe that anyone would write a positive review about the Gulfarium. This place is horrible! My wife and I spent $40 to see crap! The place is run down. The shows were only 10 minutes each. I feel bad for the animals that live there. The place hasn't been updated since it was built in the 1950's! DON'T... more

I would not recommend this place at all. We just visited this week and it was so dirty. I dont understand why the animals tanks had so much algae in them. That is something that should be worked on and maintained every day. The glass around all animals was so dirty that you couldnt see the animals being fed inside.... more

Great shows for the family! We took children ages 2-17. It was really hot and the 2 year old was restless but otherwise enjoyed it. The 13 and 17 year olds were bored, but the 6 year old loved it..and so did my husband and I! Be sure you have a good camera and be ready for action. I got... more

I have been to aquatic centers all over the country and this was without a doubt the worst! This place is rundown, dirty and way overpriced....the people on this site giving it good reviews must have gone to a different gulfarium than we did...or they are employees of it. Fortunately for other potential victims my wife was able to warn them... more

There's not much to see and you spend 20 bucks per adult to see it (I think it was 12 per kid). Maybe I'm spoiled because I live not far from the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. Save your money. more

This is like a small Sea World. It did cost $65 for 4 of us but worth it to do something different besides the beach. They had 3-4 live shows that last about 30 mins each. It was nice and would go again. It was very hot and they had large icee drinks for $4.75 with $2.75 refills. We stayed... more

A group of us went to the Gulfarium in Destin. It is a neat place, you get to see Dolphin shows, sea lions, and various other animals. It is a little pricey, but that's part of vacationing and tourism etc. The kids will love it, and the Dolphins are very well trained and entertaining. Hope you enjoy it. more
