We visited the pier at sunset, and let me just say wow... simply beautiful! There were lots of people fishing and others just enjoying the sights. Crystal clear water with many visible schools of fish. We saw at least 10 dolphins! One of the dolphins actually jumped to catch someone's fish they had just hooked and started to reel in...... More

A busy place during the summer - especially weekends. The store is accessible without paying the pier fee so if your on the beach it's a good source for "refreshments"

Our boys loved walking out on the Pier and watching all the people fishing. We saw several people reeling in big fish. We also had fun looking down in the clear waters.

Just got back from Destin and we almost skipped the pier. So glad we didn't! Lots of locals fishing for Tarpin, crystal clear water with tons of fish, and even a few dolphins swimming around. We missed seeing a hammerhead by about 30 minutes! You could tell there was a buzz in the air so I asked a local teen... More

We spent a day here during our Destin vacation. You can rent fishing equipment for a reasonable price ($7 a pole + bait + fee for pier = $46 total for 3 people). Our kids (age 11 & 14) had a great time fishing and caught a few fish that they released back into the water. Also saw dolphins, sharks,... More

Very friendly staff. Better to fish off pier during the day,b ut night was good also. I do suggest if fishing go to walmart for a $20 pole and use the whole trip instead of renting one

Fun little spot to stop and worth the visit. It is $2 a person to walk out on to the pier. We saw a couple of dolphins and one sea turtle. Did not get a chance to fish but next time around we will definitely be ready with some poles.

My husband & son (7yrs) visited the pier from about 5am till 10am. They came back to the condo with great stories of the morning adventure! They didn't catch too much themselves but they got to see several kinds or sharks, dolphins and many other fish variations.

This is a fun atmosphere, easy parking, sand volleyball, several places to eat and shop. Definitely worth visiting. Very casual and right on the beach!!

This was the best $8 ever spent! We walked down the pier at sunset and what a beautiful view. We watched the sun set along the water and checked out the dozens of fisherman. We saw three or four dolphin and a HUGE sea turtle! It was really very cool.
