We took our kids out one night to walk. The sunset was amazing. My dad, husband and son went fishing twice while on vacation. They caught quite a few fish during those two trips.

Glad we went here, but with so many people fishing, it wasn't as pleasant (or safe) as we expected. You constantly had to watch for people casting their lines or risk "getting hooked in the face" as one rude guy kept announcing. It's too bad there isn't a way to limit the fishing to one area of the pier so... More

We didn't fish but wanted to walk out the 0.25 mile pier one day. Nominal fee of $2 per person for the day to walk all you want. We saw a guy spend an hour trying to bring in a Tarpon but his line broke just as he was trying to get it up and over the pier. Saw it... More

The Pier was great to walk on late at night and look back and see all the lights on the beach. The pier was packed with late night fishing. We happened to see a shark get pulled out while on the pier and their was fish laying everywhere. Wood is old and the sides were a little wobbly which scared... More

Pier is open 24 hrs and a great place for night fishing. We have visited several time just as a couple , and as a family. The kids have a great time and love AJ's restaurant, which is attached. A play ground and volleyball courts are conveniently right next to the pier. The kids loved watching for dolphins and Sea... More

My husband and I went there one afternoon just to walk out on it and see the views. We ended up renting a fishing pole and fishing till they closed at midnight. We have never fished in the ocean before so it was really cool that we caught a few! Also, can't not mention the great views!

This is a fun place to go fishing or just people watch. It's right next to the beach, but there is always a lot going on - on the pier. We went fishing and saw an amazing sunset...and then we saw dolphins. Was fun and relaxing...

We were watching people bring in 4 and 5 fish at a time and then the dolphins started a feeding freny. OK so maybe it was just dolphin dinner time, but it was AWESOME! We had a blast and we even saw a bird swoop down and grab a fish that a fisherman had just unhooked. Best day ever.

Had a very fun afternoon at the pier! My husband fished and the kids and I walked on out and watched the Dolphins play for about 30 mins. We saw sea turtles and different sorts of weird looking fish. Had a fantastic time, even left the husband there another 3 hrs after we left, he just couldn't get enough! Great... More
