Great views from and below the pier!

The white sandy beaches in Ft. Walton play with the sunlight and cast so many different colors on the water. The water is some of the clearest I have ever seen and whether you... read more

We were taken aback by the fact that you have to pay $2/each to walk the pier. There are lots of people fishing but we didn't find it dirty. Great views and we even saw some Dolphins out playing. It was a stroll right before sunset.

This is a fishing pier. I would not recommend a leisurely walk unless you don't mind fish guts and such. Bait shack will rent poles and bait. We saw people pull in sharks and other big fish. Our teenage boys loved it, caught lots of fish.

You have to pay a fee to walk out on the pier; which is crowded by fisherman and disgusting fish guts and chum everywhere. Not worth it

If you're comfortable walking your kids past a bunch of homeless drunks, only to be greeted by a jerk with no personailty that barks "$2.00 each! at you and your family, then you'll LOVE the pier. Otherwise, stay away. You're not missing a thing.

I can never get enough of piers and whenever we are near the beach I always have to find out if there is a pier nearby. $2 for a nice stroll on the pier and you get a ticket that let's you go back throughout the day.

Walking the pier is a beautiful experience. It's so peaceful and comforting! It's not rare to see dolphins out playing or the fishermen at the end of the pier making huge catches! When at the end of the pier you can see most of the island and it's a breathtaking view!

We walked out on the pier in January for the view and were not disappointed--the kids loved it--we've had drinks there to watch the sunset.

We took a walk down this pier and also spent a couple hours trying to catch fish. We didn't have any luck with the fishing but the view from the pier was pretty and it wasn't too cold or windy. If you are planning on coming here for a while, I'd suggest bringing some food/drink with you since there's only... More

The white sandy beaches in Ft. Walton play with the sunlight and cast so many different colors on the water. The water is some of the clearest I have ever seen and whether you are gazing off of the pier or walking underneath it, there is always something to catch your eye. It is also well maintained...just a pretty site... More

I'm a big fan of the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier. The venue has is in fantastic location, and fishermen can enjoy the pier while other family members can enjoy the beach, or very good restaurants that are only a few feet away. There is a snack and bait shed on the pier, so you can get a drink or something... More
