Took an evening stroll out on the pier right before a huge storm came in that night. It was nice, windy, but nice. Looked like a great place to fish.

Oh man, if you like big piers, this is for you. But it is just a big pier. They claim it is the longest pier on the gulf coast.

Great place to meet the locals and catch some fish. Pretty cheap fishing day. Pay to access the pier and you don't need a license. They have bait and tackle or you can bring your own. If you don't fish it's still worth it to just walk out and watch for dolphins.

Although we live in Florida about 15 minutes from the nearest beach, we still like to to walk out on piers over the water whenever we get the chance. While staying in Fort Walton Beach, we decided to visit the Okaloosa Island Pier. The waves were high and we thought that we might get a good view of them from... More

Stayed down the beach and walked to the pier several morning. Got to see dolphins on two occasions. Fun watching people fishing. Cost me $2 dollars for the day, can't go wrong with that.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort which was wonderful and many mornings I would walk to the pier and watch them fish. I also fished a couple of times but did not catch a darn thing. I love piers and this one was one of the best I have been to! I recommend this one because it was wide,... More
