We enjoyed strolling along the boardwalk, watching the children riding the little train and seeing all the fishing boats.

Be sure and visit Crab Trap. Great food and service. We come here for apitizers and main meals. Good drinks and good atmosphere.

There are a few shops and 3 decent restaurants with a 4th being constructed to open soon. There is also a playground area on the beach. The Howl at the Moon has closed and is being remodeled for a Taco restaurant. The restaurants are the Black Pearl which is very good open for dinner with a 4-6 early bird special,... More

Basically, this is just "joined" buildings with 3 restaurants, an ice cream/gelatto shop, a kite shop, and a few other little shops. We went there on a rainy day and needed an umbrella walking around. Most of the shops were closed. Only one shop, the ice cream shop, and the restaurants were open. We returned in nicer weather and there... More

What's not to love about the view...silky white sand, crystal clear blue water and colors you can only imagine for the sunsets! The restaurants and shops are nice. Love that they open to the boardwalk so you can feel the breeze.

That said, there were a ton of straws and cigarette butts in the very immediate playground area. My 20 month old was more interested in picking up the trash than playing... More

A must do when visiting the area. Nothing exciting, but it is a nice walk with cute shops, niche eatery's, and restaurants with good food. The niche eatery's are going to cost you, but the restaurants are fairly priced. The shops are not overly expensive, but shop around for gifts, you can get some of the same items cheaper at... More

It was nice to be able to walk and check out the shopping and marina as well as viewing the magnolia tree and the charter boat area. Can't wait to come again
