Ft walton beach golf

Played pines course with my brother. Course was in good shape and was not crowded, but we had an early tee time. Reasonably priced and worth playing.

Inexpensive golf. The course condition was a little rough. The greens were ok. There was a very odd fish smell all day. Greeted by friendly staff.

Played the oaks course this morning. My husband has played golf for 50 years and said those were probably the worst greens he has ever played. many of the tee boxes were in bad shape also. We paid $35 each and it wasn't worth half that. Talked to someone who played the Pines course this morning. It was very cheap... More

I have been playing golf for 25 years and the Pines Course is worse course I have ever played on. The greens are horrible they are more dirt than grass. This could be a great course but it needs a lot of work.

For the fees, this is one of the better municipal courses you will ever visit. Two courses to choose from, and great practice facilities.

In late April I golfed the Pines Course for a charity event, and was disappointed in the overall shape of the course. There were a lot of weeds in the fairways. The tee boxes were pretty chewed up...it appeared that the tee positions hadn't been moved in quite some time. And the greens were in pretty bad shape. HUGE bare... More

Both the Pines and Oaks are very reasonably priced. Interesting and unique layouts with some tough holes if you play the back tees. Some of the traps and allot of greens still appear damaged for the last two Springs I have been there. bare spots and rough but they attempt to put pins in areas that have green. Overall, OK... Played the Pines course. I wasn’t sure what to expect because of the low cost. It turned out to be a very good golf experience. It doesn’t have the beauty or lush fairways of some of the higher dollar courses, but the course is in good condition and is pleasant to play. My only complaint—a small one—is that I thought... First of all the green fees are very reasonable. If booked through GolfNow.com however, green fees become very cheap. There are two golf courses. We played the Oaks Staff were friendly, we like the fact that the starter does not force foursome play. In early July, except for 2 greens, the golf course was in great condition. If you are... A well maintained course, a great clubhouse, and a friendly staff. They keep the greens in excellent condition. Worth many return visits.
