We have been coming to this area for years for fishing and have just begun to discover this wonderful little town. We love the theatre for small concerts and the many festivals that bring out the local talent both on and off stage. There are many wonderful little resturants and places to stay. It is truly a touch of the... More

Ft. Pierce is an absolutely charming small town! The fresh market is every Weds. and on Sat.'s the market expands to include art and crafts and a plethora of creative and interesting hand-made product stands. Walk around the marina and check out the boats! Have lunch outdoors at the Tiki bar or Cobb's Landing -or walk a bit further to... More

After working in this area some time ago, I frequent the downtown area upon every visit. The history, ambiance and location make this trip worth it. The monthly Friday fest, farmers market, intercoastal waterway and ocean keeps this secretive but challenging town a part from others. Beautiful buildings,an abundance of great restaurants and easy access off US#1 should lure you... More

I give this one a 5 star rating. No it is not Rodeo Drive or Worth Ave but it is authentic. Most places that even remotely look like this 1930s downtown are run down and dangerous, but Ft. Pierce did a marvelous renovation job around 1995 and the town looks good and feels good. I love walking around here. And... More
