A nice secluded area that offers a good play space for young kids or pets who enjoy the beach. There isn't a convenient way to get from the parking lot to the beach area though -- just cross the street and walk carefully down the small hill. That's the only downside about it, in my opinion. But maybe the inconvenience... More

This is a great park for picnicking, beachcombing or birding (esp. during migration time). With beaches on the Atlantic ocean and the Indian River Lagoon, there is plenty of places to dig in your beach chair and watch the boats, birds or dolphins. There is an entrance fee for vehicles at the Inlet State Park on the other side.

Make sure you grab a Rum Runner at the Jetty Lounge. Enjoy watching the people catch fish and relax on the swings for the sunset. Lots of families, kids, dogs. Often times there are Manatees swimming near the beach. Its always nice to have something to do for free.

We had a picnic lunch here...beautiful scenery! Nice beach...great waves if you surf. My son really enjoyed fishing here even though he didn't have any luck. Saw a sign that a beach wheelchair is available to use at the park, so if you are disabled, you may be able to access the beach too.

Stopped by this park while in town on boat . Nice park with places to sit , fish , and just enjoy the beauty of the area . A few near by restaurants make the area easy to enjoy . Seems to be a locals place as well as tourists . Neat little find .

The new park is super with swings, fish cleaning stations, benches, nice restroom facilities, and even free telescopes. The city of Fort Pierce has done a marvelous job on the inlet park.

The Inlet park is beautiful after the recent renovations. This is a family-friendly park. We love to fish and have had good luck! Everyone walking by is so friendly. It's fun to watch the manatees.

We love this beach, its so wide with nice soft sand, and clear water. On this occasion there were some actual good waves so the locals came to surf! I love to see people surfing, and I like that you can surf at any age as you can see by some of my pictures. :) This beach is so nice... More

As their new slogan says, this is the real Florida. We see manatees the size of dining room tables almost every year (this morning we saw two swim past us within just a few feet!), box turtles the size of large frisbees, fish, crabs, non-stinging jelly fish - the works! Our family of four really enjoys the gentle slope of... More

The Fort Pierce Inlet Park, which is located on North Hutchington Island, is a beautiful natural park with a wonderful beach. There is an admision charge but there are facilities at the park. The State of Florida runs the park. You'll enjoy your day at the beach.
