We take all our company to the inlet. Nice jetty to walk out on. Saw the manatees several times right next to the rocks. Fun to see the pelicans up close as they wait by the fish cleaning stand for a hand-out.

Fort Pierce and St Lucie County is anti-dog, in other words NOT dog friendly. First visited when we moved from tPA to help elderly mom in Ft Pierce. For boaters and beachgoers, can't beat the Fort Pierce Inlet. Awesome view of it from the top of the causeway heading east. Turquoise water every day.
