My wife and I chose the Key West Express as a means to explore the Keys without the long drive from Tampa. I'd make the same choice again. The catamaran was as steady as it could be in relatively turbulent seas (hence the dramamine comment). The available food and drink service made for a nice mid cruise snack (my wife... More

We took the Key West Express from Key West to Fort Myers to avoid the long drive. The seas were quite rough and I took motion sickness pills well in advance. The staff actually recommended this to everyone. I didn't get sick but was afraid to go inside for fear of getting sick. So I sat outside for the whole... More

My husband and I took the Key West Express to / from Ft. Myers Beach and it was a nice alternative to driving from the Gulf Coast. The ride was smooth and they sold snacks and showed a movie on the way. It rained on both of our trips, but I’ll bet it’s a pretty ride on a clear day.... More

Wonderful food, exciting atmosphere with good service. It's out-of-the-way in a delapated neighbourhood but is a gem with an upscale feel compared to other restaurants in KW. Interesting tasty tapas' with a large variety of wine served by friendly staff. Best to have a renervation, it's popular!

Always wanted to see Key West but it was just too far to drive. This is a great and quick way to get there. We only went for the day but would recommend staying overnight. Spent more time on the boat going and coming than actually in Key West but we expected that. Appreciated the movie on the trip back.... More

Easy to board, lots of seating, can watch a film if you want or just relax. On a good day sitting outside would be great. Drops you off within walking distance of Duval a Street or you can ride on the little tram and learn about the history of Key West

We took the Key West Express from Fort Myers to Key West for an overnight stay and had a great time. The boat is clean with both inside and outside seating venues and a small galley area with food and assorted beverage items. It was on-time and the check-in and boarding process was easy and efficient. If you want a... More

I flew into Fort Myers from the West Coast and then took the ferry the next day to Key West. It was about a $50 cab ride from my airport area hotel. My experience on this ferry going to Key West and then returning five days later was great. We had smooth seas and great weather both directions, so my... More

This was our first time on Key West Express. We were told it was about 3-3 1/2 hours. The trip from Ft Myers to Key West was uneventful other taking over 4 hours. There was plenty of room because it wasn't. It you were going just for a day trip, it would have only left you with a couple hours... More
