We took the Key West Express for a day trip from Ft Myers Beach - what a great experience! The accommodations are quite comfortable & vary from tables by the windows to airline seating in the center of the vessel, plus there are many big-screen TV's showing movies (nice!) & there's a bar & galley available (which we didn't make... What a great way to get to the Keys! Why would I drive 8 hours to get to the Keys when I can get there in 3! Boarded the Express with excitement and wasn't let down. I was surpised how roomy & comfortable it was inside - with tables and seats big enough for a family of 4. The bar... More

If you are on the gulf side of Florida, this is a great way to get to Florida. We checked ahead of time and learned that the sea wave forecast was for 2' or less waves. We had really good weather so that made the ride very smooth. They show a movie each way. Snacks and drinks are available for... More

We recently for first time took Key West Express from Fort Myers Beach to Key West. Purchased our tickets at the booth, boarded the catamaran, and we were off. On board this catamaran, you could sit inside or outside. We sat outside on second deck. The chairs were more comfortable than we thought. We enjoyed the view while dozing off in the... More

They have workers everywhere telling you where to go and what to do so everything runs smoothly. Waited in a short line for tickets and immediately boarded boat. They have some tables and chairs but the rest are chairs. There's a bar and a snack bar on bottom level. There's also tvs which they played a couple of movies on.... More

This is the way to go to Key West . . . most of the trip was smooth, on the return we had some choppy waters. They offered snack food and a bar for drinks. Go early to get a good seat facing forward! Crew is pleasant.

wow!!!1This trip was just fabulous. It all started, purchasing the tickets at the front desk, the staff was very friendly with such a warm early morning greeting. Getting on the boat was amazing, so very very clean, comfortable, many places to sit even if you get on a little late, and the snacks were fine due to an early departure... More

We visit Key West annually, taking the Key West Express from Fort Myers Beach. Normally our vacation starts when we board the comfortable and generally stable catamaran for the approximately 4 hour trip. We have recommended the Key West Express to friends as well as the best way to get to the Conch Republic, Key West. All was well on... More

Passenger concerns are taken seriously and addressed appropriately. We thank you for making Key West Express a part of your annual vacation over the years. It is disappointing that the bad behavior of others marred what has previously been an enjoyable trip. Regretfully, though the individuals to whom you are referring were not permitted to purchase alcoholic beverages on board... More

We booked and payed for our tickets for a family of four well in advance, which totaled about $460 round trip. On the morning of our trip we made the long drive to the dock at Fort Meyers, getting there around 7 am. When we arrived we were told that the ferry was cancelled that day due to rough seas.... More

Very good advice in your title. We want each and every buyer to be aware of the type of fare they choose to purchase. For this reason there are multiple places in the online booking process where fare types are clearly defined. On the reservation home page the refundable and nonrefundable fares are identified. After clicking the “book now” button... More
