I love animals but have never seen a place so bad . they have bags for your dogs droppings but it seems like most people there never pick it up

Compared to some other dog-friendly beaches we've been to, this is very nice. The dogs are off-leash so can roam on the beach or in the water. After parking, follow the sometimes flooded trail to the beach. You arrive at a very, very small beach. Go right around the mangroves and you will find the actual dog beach. Bring water... More

One of the few beaches in the Naples area that allows dogs to roam leash free. Do not bring your dog here if they are not socialized around other dogs because people go there for the freedom of their pets. Parking is ok then you walk in to the actual beach. The path can be water logged & have dead... More

First off, let me say you might hear of the Ft Myers Dog Beach & the Bonita Bay one. They're one and the same. The dogs have a ball & the people are all very friendly. My only advice is to check the tide tables before you go & do so barefoot, in flip flops or some kind of beach... More

This was our first time bringing our sweet baby to a beach and I must say this what an amazing experience. Everyone is friendly and the dogs get along great. Can't wait to take Stella again. This is our new favorite place!

Stopped in for the dog to play and he had a blast! Very clean beach. Saw a dolphin! Went on a cooler day so there weren't many dogs on the beach but our dog still loved it.

Great place, already have plans to return next week. Tide was high so the beach area was small but you could walk out forever. Amazing how many boats were anchored.

This large, shallow water dog beach has sugar soft sand, no waves, and free parking and admittance ( unusual in the Fort Myers area). If you're coming from Ft. Myers Beach, The entrance is at the far end of Lovers Key island past the main entrance to the state park about a mile. Look for the brown sign. Bring poop... More

It was so nice to actually relax on the beach with my dog. I walked along the water with my dog while he trampled through the water. We played fetch with a stick I picked up and he tussled around with the other dogs

Great idea, Our dog had so much fun we had to go back. Unfortunately the second trip was not good. Some owners are totally irresponsible. Our dog is fairly small, a large malmute, decided to grab her and shake her up. The owner could not control her dog!!! Finally we left
