I loved the dog beach when they opened it at first. Now it has become too popular and its now a little too small for the amount of big dogs .Its a great idea ,but I don't think the city thought it would be used as much.

Cool place to let your dogs run free but so many people don't pick up after their dogs that it smells so bad now. It is right on the beach and it ruins the area.

Beautiful beach with a lot of laughs if you happen to be a dog lover! Watching all the dogs play in the water is well worth the trip!

My 7 month doodle was attacked and bit in face by pitbull. Not the place to relax and watch your dog enjoy the water. Pitbull free roaming while owner sitting in beach chair letting his dog get aggressive with multiple dogs. When we questioned how safe and controlled his dog was he cut an attitude and tapped "yeah he is... More

This is especially good if you have a dog or dogs that don't get to interact with other dogs. We took our Lab who is 10 years old and he loved it. The other people are there to have fun with their pets also, so it`s all good. We did not see dog crap when we were there, everyone was... More

This was an excellent place to exercise our Brittany. He could get his long run plus swim. The dogs were well socialized.

Our dogs had an absolute blast at this park. Our dogs are single minded: one wants to chase fish, the other chases the water frisbee. Most of the dogs were well socialized but their owners were not. There is dog crap everywhere and a lot of irresponsible owners. We make sure to carefully watch where our dogs poop and clean... More

We reside near Dog Beach and often pass by with our boat. It is very clean with fantastic views of the Gulf. It is not uncommon to see Dolphins playing or an occasional Sting Ray jump clear out of the water. Fisherman abound in the entire area. A day spent here with your pet will be long remembered. Of note... More
