If you have a pooch like me, there has to be a place to take them and doggie beach is the place. Here there are dogs of all breads and sizes. I haven't had any issues with other dogs. Just be sure that if your buddy has short legs and the tide is in, you will have to carry them... More

This was a great place to see the mangroves and tidal beaches of FMB. You will get muddy/sandy/wet walking back to the beach. The Beach is a tidal, so it will be covered at high tide. We were able to see dolphins swimming the channels right by the beach. Would recommend a visit if you like out of the way... More

My dog loves it here. Sometimes it's a little crowded but everyone is usually very friendly. If you're going here, expect wet dogs everywhere and get ready to play!

My husband and I did not have our dog with us but we wanted to see what the dog beach was all about. We took our coffee and went to the beach. Wear some old shoes because it was quite muddy (the tides). There were about 10 dogs there and it was such fun to watch them play in the... More

This place made me smile!! I so enjoyed watching all of the dogs making friends with one another. Well-trained and friendly dogs running everywhere and totally enjoying life at its finest. Watch the tide report!

We took our golden retriever to dog beach twice during our stay in the Fort Myers Beach area this past December. Both visits were lovely. We ended up going (I would assume) around low tide as the beach/sand area was quite extensive when we were there. Both visits were made relatively early in the morning (9:30-10ish) as I was a... Clean well kept secret. Dolphins swim in close to take a look at the pup's. This was a great place to play.

Very cool dog beach a mile or two south of Lover's Key. We had to wade through the water (tide pool) to get to the beach area which, at high tide, is made up of several small beaches with plenty of shallow water. I hear that at low tide the beach is larger but tides in this area are tricky... More

Dog can run free on the beach, and run into the water, and when the tide comes in it cleans off the beach. Dogs seem to love it

What a great beach for dogs. The tides run very fast through here so when any dogs poop in the water it gets washed away quickly. There are times when there's no beach at all but at low tide it's extensive. I took my dog almost every day in September and saw very little trouble between any dogs or people.... More
