This State park was an excellent stop. Wear your beach shoes, though--those shells are really sharp!

Beautiful beach. Have been here many times over the years. Very quiet and not too crowded. Plenty of parking, and then you take the tram (or you can walk) to the beach. Facilities at both the parking area and on the beach.

I love to run the trails or go kayaking! I've seen dolphins and manatees often. It's a walk to the beach but it's worth it.

Pros: Beach was small but quiet. Kayaking was wonderful.
Cons: Price was very steep for kayaking.

This is really a gem. Tucked away at the very end of the beach. You can take the trolley there for 50 cents from the crowded beach areas. Two dollars to get in (worth it to preserve the areas). A tram takes you down to the beach or you can walk. We took the tram it runs every 15 min. Nice covered picnic area.

Kayak rental lots of fun and a great way to see Manatees.
