I'll start with the only thing I felt was negative-- a bit of a walk (hike) to get from car to beach. After that-- Oh my gosh! We wanted to go shelling and we found almost every shell listed in their shell guide-- if not all of them. The shells were either on the beach or rolling in the water.... More

Take the time to see a beach the way it is meant to be. This State Park was beautiful and worth a full-day of your vacation. Be sure to take the kayak tour of the estuary.

Fort Myers Beach is a busy area. As you drive further south it does get quieter, but when you hit Lover's Key it ends. So this park is very accessible and close to all the excitement of Fort Myers Beach or the luxury of Bonita Springs but it is a great break from all of that. The beach is beautiful... More

This park is so natural and so beautiful. If you want to see wildlife and find awesome shells then this is the place to go. Go early in the morning to find the best shells.

Love this Park! Wide open beautiful white beaches. If you come at the right time shells to enjoy or find. It is worth going to!

Great beautiful beach with parking and a trolley service. Cost $8. to park but worth it. Great family spot with trails and of course a pretty beach. We visited in March and the water was the perfect temp. Also the breeze kept us cool even though it was a hot day.

We enjoyed a great day at Lovers Key Beach State Park. There was a nominal charge to enter but it was well worth it. A short tram ride from the parking lot we were dropped off at a beautiful large white sandy beach. There was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the day. You can bring your own... More

We only had 4 hours to spend at this beach before heading to the airport, and we loved every minute!! The beach is beautiful. There are restrooms and a place to buy food and rent chairs and umbrellas. We also rented a kayak and spent some time in the mangroves enjoying nature. Bring bug spray if you play to kayak... More

We spent a day at Lovers Key State Park and were quite pleased. The beach is huge, so there is plenty of room for everybody, and there is a nice gazebo in which we ate our packed lunch (there is also a food stand on the beach). The parking lot was packed all day and a tram is recommended to... More

We enjoyed watching the dolphins and distant sail boats. Well worth the park fee with clean rest rooms, showers and beaches and fairly secure parking.
