We walked almost all of the trails and beach available at this park, The trails are well maintained but we had hoped to see a lot more bird life and maybe some other wildlife. Perhaps this is all too close to civilization to deliver on this or we just hit a poor day for animal-watching.

My wife and I decided to take a few days to sightsee in southwest Florida. We love spending time visiting the awesome state parks in Florida. We wanted to visit Lovers Key SP since we had never been here before and we knew that this state park allowed bikes on hiking trails. This park was more than expected. We parked... More

The park is really unique. The tram took us to the south beach which was quiet with not too many people. The shoreline was nice for walking and the sand, although mixed with shells, was decent. We had read that kayak rentals were $10, but down at the south beach kiosk it was $40 for a half day for a... More

Had a wonderful time finding shells and playing on the beatyfull beach. Watching the dolphins play in the ocean and all the diffrent birds so close to you. Walked the trail and it was great, seeing all the turtles(gophers) was amasing. Take the whole trail and dont use the shortcuts it is worth it. So beatyfull and peacefull.

I visit this park several times each time I am in Bonita Springs. I alway enter by the second entrance, it is more rustic and costs $2.00 but there are hardly any people. As of November they are being more consistent on locking and opening the gate, surprised me the first time I arrived at sunrise time.

We visited the park twice within a week. Both times were with relatives and friends who were visiting. Everyone enjoyed their time at the park. The park charges an $8.00 per car entry fee which is good for the whole day. On our first visit we hiked from the main parking lot to the beach area were there is food... More

$8 entry fee for car. Can either take boardwalk or tram to beach where there is a large gazebo and restroom facilities. Wide beach. Thought the sand was shelly and a bit sharp. Looks like a great area for kayaking in calm inland streams. Ample parking.

My husband and I went there for our 30 year anniversary and we just loved walking the trail hike. We saw gopher titles and so many beautiful flowers and plants. I can't wait to go again.

This amazing sanctuary offers wildlife, aquatic mammals, greenery and white sugar fine sandy beaches. The trails are well groomed and are mostly stroller friendly. The 3 barrier reefs and smaller island can keep anyone's attention for hours upon hours. The fees are very reasonable. The central area has a gift shop that offers bike, kayak and paddle board rentals. There... More

We visited here this week for the first time and weren't impressed with the facilities. We wanted to change into our bathing suits there and didn't realize the only changing places were at the shuttle stop upon entering or at the shuttle stop and snack place on the beach. We didn't feel we needed the shuttle to walk the nice... More
