I visited Lovers Key on the last day of a one-week nature photography vacation in the Ft Myers/Sanibel/Bonita Springs area. $4 solo entry fee very reasonable. Nice paved trails, beautiful setting. Got an excellent photo of a perched osprey, when heavy rains hit. Will definitely go back on my next vacation.

Best part was taking a walk along the trails. Very tropical! There is a tram for those going to the beach.

Attending a Nature/Beach tour, in lieu of some friends, we were pleasantly surprised and educated on the diversity of the area. It was interesting to listen to our park ranger (Pamela) explain how the interactions of the plants and small aquatic life play in their survival. Went here with 4 family friends to hang out for the day. The sunset was exquisite. Walked both ways for fun.

8$ to get into the park. You could Just hike the 5 mile trails for free or rent a canoe/ 4 hours $38 . I was a bit disappointed with the aluminum canoes rather than Fiberglas, which were a bit unstable. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards too. Enjoyed the bird watching saw a few fish and although there... More

Only charge a modest fee for this park. They will transport you from the parking area to the beach. This beach is very clean and you can do a lot of hiking if you don't just want to sit on the beach. Lots of wildlife to see.

Nothing great about this State Park. Don't bother checking it out. Lot's of seaweed. Awesome shells across the bridge.
