Lover's Key has everything you would want for a day out at the beach. The beach is beautiful and clean, without the crowds that most places have. The walking trails are great, I have seen many varieties birds, turtles, alligators, armadillos and manatees. Canoes and bikes are available too. It's just a wonderful place to spend a day!

This park is absolutely relaxing and beautiful. I was there last weekend with my hubby and daughter barbecuing and we had a very great day. It was very relaxing, clean, quiet. I will definitely go back. I recommend it :)

Went at low tide after thunderstorms the night before. Best shelling I've ever seen! Saw lots of live fighting conch and 9 legged star fish. Best shelling in southwest FL!

We have so enjoyed Lover's Key this year. The beach is lovely, lots of shells and nesting osprey. Just finished a free class on Beginning Birding with the 8 dollar admission fee. We have walked the 2 1/2 mile trail at parking lot 2 - don't take the short cuts or you will miss the lagoon with the biggest alligator... More

Great beach, lovely trails to walk around, excellent park staff around for questions and tours. Definitely more off the beaten path, as we thought it was uncrowded, especially for spring break. If you go, take advantage of the rentals and trails! I just hope to go back when the weather cooperates!

This beach is beautiful and seems a world away- I even enjoy the tram ride! The have terrific Park Rangers that give lectures on various topics- I enjoyed the "Sea Turtle" lecture on my last trip to this wonderful park. They also rent bikes, this is on my "to do "list for next time. We loved renting Kayaks here and... More

Lovers Key used to be accessible only by boat, hence the name, but now the State of Florida has put in access roads and even a tram to get you to the beach if you are not able bodied. The overall park is nice, but more as a nature preserve than a beach destination. The beach itself is long but... More

We read the rave reviews and had to go see this place. It is considered to be part of Fort Myers Beaches, so we thought it would be in Fort Myers, but it is actually about a 40 minute drive out of Fort Myers in Bonita Springs. It's an $8 entrance fee per car, and there was plenty of parking.... More

We took the tram to the beach and walked all the way south to the end of the beach. Hardly anyone was down there and the shelling was great. My companions went out in the water pretty far and thought there was a second sandbar out there, but got in over their heads and due to rough weather, they actually... More
