Quiet and lots of water

Get away from the crowed beaches and hang out where it's so peaceful.... The beach is narrow but there are fewer people and you get the same water and sunshine...and free parking.

Lovers Key State Park is one of our most favorite places to visit when we come to Ft Myers Beach each year. First, it's a beautiful state park with a great beach. You can rent lounge chairs and umbrellas, get snacks, drinks, and sandwiches at Hurricane Charley's snack shack, and there are bathrooms available. There is a tram which will... More

The shelling is incredible, the beach is not over crowded and makes for a nice afternoon to sit in the sun.

So glad that we decided to stop and have a look around this place. We hired bikes and had great fun following the trails and seeing the many flora and fauna that was on offer. Managed to see manatees but didn't see any gators but saw plenty of other birds, snakes and reptiles. Was on our way to the beach... More

My daughters like this for the relative seclusion, but it's by a bridge, and faces condos. It does have ample parking and port a lets. Burrs in the sand. We have seen manatee, dolphin, and a huge conch here.

Very nice beach ,a little small as far as the width but long .you have to pay to enter and either walk a short distance or ride the trans if you want to go to the very end. There are bathrooms and food and drinks .Great place for kids also and they do have bike trails

There is kayaking, biking, hiking, a boat launch and beach areas. There is a fee for parking, but reasonable. Wasn't nearly as busy as Ft Myers beach, which was nice.
