Probably the best nature walk we've been to. It is amazing to find this so close to the city. For all ages.

The preserve was a beautiful nature hike through a part of Florida's unique cypress landscape. I need to go again. It was so peaceful.

We spent a fun morning checking out the Six Mile Cypress Slough. We could not believe that we only had to pay for parking and gladly left a donation. What a relaxing morning getting out and enjoying nature. Our two year old was enthralled with the baby wild boars. What a well kept facility with plenty of volunteers to answer... More

What a great little escape to get away for the noise and stress of the daily grind!! Lots of wildlife and nature all around. Schedule a tour or just stroll along the boardwalk and you will instantly feel better!

The Slough Preserve is always so enjoyable. During this week's visit we saw gators, turtles, many types of birds, and more. Best of all, strolling the boardwalk is peaceful and relaxing. Each guest I bring there is happy we went. Keep up the good work, SMCSP!!

We enjoyed the peace and quiet and shade! So much to see. Ibis, herons, cormorants, lizards, ferns, palms, cypress, and piglets. We loved it.
