The park is all decorated for Christmas. This park is huge. Lots of shelters for picnics. A lot of things for kids to do, bike trails that wind around the park, bikes to rent, boats to rent. Every Friday there is a farmers market there. Baseball fields.

The setting is beautiful - lots of birds and looks like a great place for kids. The farmer’s market on Friday morning is fun but the city of Ft. Meyers does not allow dogs in city parks.

This park is inexpensive, accessible and full of things to do. An exceptional play structure starts the adventure. Lots of things for kids of all ages and physical abilities. A wonderful system of paths provides hours of interesting walking, running or biking fun. Rent bikes, peddle boats or canoes. Lots of tables for picnics and a nice ice cream stand... More

WOW! Wish I had a park like this in my community. Paved walking paths around water features. Canoe and paddle boat rentals. Mini train ride. Really nice botanical garden. Multiple kids play areas. Bike rentals. Extremely clean. Ample parking at $1 per hour.

Through the 27 years we've lived in Ft. Myers, we've seen changes to this wonderful asset for Lee County. When the hurricanes came in 2005-6, it devastated the park. However, it became a blessing as the renovation improved the park significantly for walking, biking, recreation, etc. and it is even more beautiful.

Great place to view wildlife, birds, etc. as well as just relaxing in a calm peaceful surrounding. We stopped by on a Friday sfternoon and found the snack shop and train museum closed. Appears to have longer hrs on the weekend. If in the area again I would return.

Friday farmers market, the mango habanero jam from Paradise Gardens is wonderful. Nice variety of food and wares to choose from. Pretzel rolls, fresh guacamole, fresh mozzarella. Interesting jewelry and clothes. The fragrance garden is a pleasure to stroll through. Great place to stroll, run or bike ride.
