This is a very nice park. There are playgrounds, splash areas, and walking trails as well as boats to rent for the lake. This would be a great place to host a get together.

This park is an natural beauty located in Fort Myers. Lakes, woods, a train ride, bikes to rent, playgrounds and a swimming beach. Picnic areas are scattered throughout. On Fridays from Oct - April there is a Farmers market with local produce and a variety of other products.

What a great find in the middle of Fort Myers. There are a few miles of walking trails through the woods and over the water. They also have a couple small "water parks" for the kids to romp around. You can rent pedal cars and kayaks. They also have a couple little snack bars. There is a fee for parking... More

Although not all native to Florida, there is a really neat cactus garden in Lakes Park. Stroll through on the path which is in the same area as the fountains. It's free and if you're in the nieghborhood, worth a visit.

This is a very nice park to visit. There are a few playgrounds, boat and bike rentals, and a place to get a snack. The train to ride on is down til about Sept 27th. If you have little ones, this is a cheap place to go too.
