There is a Farmer's market here every Friday during peak season and ends in April. Many many amazing finds. There is a lady that sells low country cooking with a soul food twist. So good. We rented double seated bikes to ride around the park and they are reasonably priced at $18.00 per hour. This is a huge park so... More

Clean park, lake is well maintained. There are lots of families and being in a good part of town no rif-raff. Great place to take the kids for some fishing and a picnic.

Splash parks, train for little kids, rent boats, and regular playgrounds. Requires you to pay for parking, boat or bike rentals, and train ride. Note that the train goes about 1.5 miles and operates 11-2pm.

I love this park. Nice for fishing and barbecue. But why charge handicapped people to park here? And why are the pay stations soup far from the handicapped spaces?'

We really enjoyed our visit to Lakes park. It had two big climbing areas and two splash pads. Our 2 year old had a blast. No admittance fee, but you have to pay for parking, which was $1/hr or $5/day. FYI the parking machines don't give change. If you put $5 in the machine and want to buy an hour... More

This beautiful park has lots of gardens, walking paths, fitness stations and lakes. Love sitting by the water and just unwinding. The train is a great activity for kids. The water features and playgrounds are all top notch. Been visiting this park since I was a small kid in the 1980. Lots of pavilions to rent. There is a small... More

We had several visits to the park. the Friday farmers market is SUPER!! The boardwalk is great for seeing turtles and waterfowl We had a super time renting a four-person surrey. Great way of seeing a lot on the grounds. The water stations seemed inviting but we did not venture.

Stayed at a Condo overlooking the park. Walked or biked early every morning and I still am not sure I covered it all. Great options at the Farmers Market on Friday mornings. Missed the grandkids, they would have had a blast there. Train ride, splash zone, and a couple great playgrounds.
