This is a large park, with great, shady, walking trails. Some portions of it are boardwalks too. You also have the option to rent kayaks, paddle boats, ride the small train and there is an ice cream shop too! There's a lot to do there, and it's alot of fun, for a nominal charge to enter the park. Reasonably priced... More

We live in nearby Bonita Springs & are professional nature photographers, so have taken some excellent bird photos here. What warms our hearts is seeing the families gathering here on weekends, especially Sundays (assuming they call ahead to reserve the covered picnic areas?) to cook out, rent the jitneys/bicycles, etc riding around the lake and going out on the paddle... This is my favorite park around here. A nice trail around the park to bike or skate on or walk or run. Things for the kids - a mini water park, mini train ride. The Park Ranger told me there are about 200 gators in the lakes. I've only see one or two very small ones. Not sure if he... More

We were just driving around and I saw the arches that said Park so got the hubby to turn around and go there. We drove in and I was like wow, omg look how big this park is. We parked which does cost 1.00 per hour or 5 for the day. There were a lot of families having their kids... More

Plenty to do and see here. Rent a multi-person bike, take a mini train ride, visit the train museum, have lunch, ice cream, picnic, let the kids play in the playgrounds and etc. This is a large park and very well maintained.

Great park for strolling along, playing ball, bbq under the shelter which you have to reserve ahead of time. Train ride for adults and kiddies, swings and slide. You have to pay to park. You cannot swim there anymore. You will be hot, so dress accordingly. Great place for runners and I think bicycles too. I don't ride, I walk.... More

Had a business holiday party at a pavilion which was rented. It was screened so bugs not an issue. Numerous tables and chairs were provided. Think we had 40 people. Bathrooms in facility but not that clean or nice. Scenery is ok but nothing great.

This place is a great place to take your kids, or in our case our grandkids. It has a coupld of huge playgrounds. A small beach area. A train ride, plus paddle boats, bicycles built for two or four, and great nature walking trails.

We are visiting from scotland and love a daily walk. There are no side walks near our villa so we took our morning walk in this park in fort Myers. It is a beautifully laid out park. Full of interesting things to do for the very young to the old. We felt very lucky to be able to walk here... More
