We took our 13 year old granddaughter to this museum and we all enjoyed it. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. The tour was very informative and learned many new things about the history of Fort Myers. They also had an old train car that was quite interesting and fun to go through. It was great seeing... The museum is well done, providing self guided tours. The staff was also available to answer questions. Certainly worth a morning or afternoon of your time. More

Jam packed with trivia, memorabilia, and a trip back from pre-historic times to now....self guided headphones lead one from era to era and the visiting shows (like Clyde Butcher's photography and the Darwin exhibit) make this a gem of an attraction More

I am a seasoned traveler who enjoys learning about the places I visit. In the course of thirty years, this New Yorker has visited Florida only four times. Several days into this trip (Lakeland, Tampa, Sarasota, Fort Myers) I began to mutter, "Now I know why people spend a week at Walt Disney World. Florida presents itself as a row... More
