Great small local theater that focuses on meaningful performances. Nice way to spend a quiet evening

Best and most reasonable theater experience in southwest florida. Many plays are from recent broadway shows. Others are classics. They do try to often keep things light hearted so that one criticism is that there are too many farces. this might be true but they do them well.

The Florida Rep offers a wide variety of plays. I saw Osage County there several years ago and it was quite frankly a first rate production. The seating is comfortable and the parking is a breeze. The prices are very affordable.

I have always had a wonderful evening at the Florida Repertory Theatre. The theater is not that big so all the seats are good. You can request an aisle seat for a little extra cost which is nice for people who need an aisle seat. I have always found the plays to be entertaining and quite good for a local... More

It is not 42nd St. It is great acting and entertainment with a comfortable feel. It has the ambiance of a turn of the last century theater. I was taken back by the intensity of the acting. The choreography was great. I for one think the Florida Rep is hidden jewel in our area.

J. Casioppio, FRT director, knows just the right shows to book. Mixes classics with latest shows. Can't miss on this one.

Never disappoints - cast is always entertaining and productions live up to any of seen in New York City. The theater is small so you have all seats have good vatage points. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed "Dividing the Estate"...about the family squabbles regarding their inheritance after the death of the parents. The actors were great, the acoustics in this old theater were wonderful...not a bad seat in the house...will definitely go back to see more plays here!

Saw a terrific presentation in their little theater featuring the tunes of Gershwin with tremendous talented performers who could not only sing, but dance and act at the same level as you would see in the Big Apple. Very impressive!
