Stopped by the market while we were in Ft. Meyers. None of the 4 of us bought a thing, but boy was it fun to check it all out! I just did not want to try to get stuff in my luggage for the trip back, but there is no charge to look and people watch!

You won't believe the variety of things they have and the low prices. I'll give you an example: We wanted to buy a set of those finely woven bamboo thread bed sheets. They were quite expensive at the linen store where we first saw them and learned about them. If you don't know about them and you like finely woven... More

This flea market is enormous. We found a few items in the indoor part of the market, but the majority are cheap items. Many stores sell the same items, so you may want to look around before purchasing if you want to save a few cents. On the outside of the market are fruit and vegetables. We had previously gone... Being used to the awesome flea markets in the NYC Long Island area, we were excited to go here. Boy were we disappointed! Rows upon rows (and cross hallways galore) of the same stuff over and over. Nobody was helpful when I asked a couple of vendors if they knew of any vendors that sold a specific item (they were... More

TripLady5... We are not happy to get a one star rating, and even less happy that you did not have a good experience in our market. That said, please allow me to address your points. First, many of our vendors run their stores alone, so do not get out into the market to explore. They often do not know where... More

I was surprised that the flea market was mainly commercial item vendors instead of people selling unwanted items. It wasn't bad because we still got a lot of good deals. Many booths were empty due to shutting down from heat in May.

Fleamasters does host a few "snowbird" vendors that set up only during the winter season... however, there are hundreds and hundreds more that stay year round. There are events here during the summer, like the "Best Dressed Chihuahua Contest" May 3, "Watermelon Festival" May 29-31 and "Anniversary Sale Days" in July. (Fleamasters will be 29 this year.) A tip for... More

This huge Flea Market appeals to a wide variety of people, due to a large variety of products, food, and services available. We didn't find a lot of quality items, mostly gadgets. old used stuff, antiques, fruit/veggies, meals, leathers, clothing, shoes, crafts, pets/pet supplies, bikes, etc. It is exactly what the name conjures up when you say: "Flea Market". Having... More

Thanks so much for your review! Please note that most of Fleamasters' larger stores have air conditioning, and there are fans in the aisles. Our Florida summers do get hot, but we do our best to keep it comfortable in the market year round. More

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place!!!! Everything you could ask for under one roof!! This market is so much more then light shopping and interesting window shopping... I took my family there and after 5 hours of shopping, and only spending a small amount of money, we had only been through half!!! The shop owners are incredibly... More

We went to the Fleamasters Fleamarket for our yearly visit to see what new items were available from the vendors. There is a large number of vendors who have lots of options. There are a few vendors who offers items that you would describe as unique, but most are simply selling junk. Unlike the Wagon Wheel in Clearwater there are... More

We were just at the fleamaster and they allow people with birds , rats, dogs and more walk around and spend money. But I took my bearded Dragon Bruno. Who was doing nothing but sitting on my shoulder. We got kicked out! Birds carry more parasites and other harmful things than a reptile. But no I have to go. I... More

For travelers with pets... please read Fleamasters' pet policy on our website, fleamall.com. Dogs that are well-socialized, friendly (toward people and other dogs) and house-trained are welcome to join you at the market. Fleamasters often has large crowds. In this crowded environment, the safety of our shoppers and guests is our prime concern. The crowded aisles are not necessarily a... More

One word: MASSIVE! We try to visit at least once every couple of months. It gets busy during snowbird season, but it is so spacious, we never run into large crowds. Just about anything you want can be found here. My highlights: Chris, the Book Guy always has a handful of hardcover editions that I can get my hands on.... More
