Moving entertainment and dining can be difficult to pull off well, with many limitations in space, supplies, etc. For a relatively small operation (compared say to a cruise ship) SGRMMDT does a very good job. The performance, written by one of the actresses, was cute; with scenes performed between meal courses, it made for a jumpy experience--but a necessary one... More

My cousin and her family invited me to join them for the Murder Mystery Train last night. We arrived and found our seat in the the Gasparilla car, only to have our server Jamie, a female, walk up to our table and ask us if we needed anything to drink. My cousin asked for water with lemon, to which our... More

My sister and her husband were in town and we wanted to do something special. The mystery-dinner train was a great choice. The mystery was great fun and the food--I had prime rib--was outstanding. The dining cars have been restored with great care. The staff and service were great.

Fun way to have a leisurely dinner and have some laughs and giggles. Comfortable train, great service. The food is better than you would expect.

We had such a good time. The food was delicious. The play was amusing. If you don't have a group of four, you will be sitting with people you don't know. We were fortunate enough to sit with a very nice couple who we enjoyed talking with and there was a lot of laughter and discussion regarding "who dunnit?" The... More

Be sure to arrive hungry because the portion's are GIGANTIC! We all agreed the food was quite excellent (I had Salmon and my husband had prime rib), amazing true/ fresh key lime pie and a good wine menu or interesting drink menu. All and all it was a good night, a pleasant train ride, entertaining and a well played Murder... More

My wife and I attended on a Friday night - the train was packed, the food was outstanding, the play was entertaining, and the service great. But the best thing was the train ride. The train is amazing - it's in great shape. The tables are set with linen and the interior looks great. Seriously do this if you have... More

I have been this this dinner several times and positively rated it. But this time I was given what had to be the worst seat possible. I booked several months in advance, paid a tidy sum for a party of three and got a seat that I believe shouldn't have been sold. If sold it should have been discounted greatly... More

Hello, my husband and I tried this attraction and found it to be quite interesting. First, be aware that you will be seated with strangers if you are just a party of two. We were sat next to a nice couple and so that turned out okay. The actors and actresses were great and we enjoyed that part of the... More

The actors were excellent, as was the show. Food excellent, but service slow, wines were dreadful. We were on the train for 4.5 hours and the seats are just not that comfortable. A novel evening but I cannot recommend it.
