Not the most pleasant way to spend a steamy August afternoon but the knowledge gained from the visit was priceless. The videos of Edison, Henry Ford, Burroughs, and Harvey Firestone offer a window into America before and during WWI that is unique. These men camped together throughout the Northeast and Florida and their travels captivated the entire nation.

Great place to learn some history and enjoy a walk along the water in a lovely garden. They were having a great plant/garden sale the day we were there.

Not bad, but kinda expensive thou and you have to pay ticket for each different access. The lab access really just a not worth and you can't access to it and only stand behind the barrier to view it. Disappointed.

I actually went here in May 2014, but it won't let me choose back that far in the drop down box. I went here with my mother last year and we really enjoyed it. We are both history buffs, but didn't even listen to the little handset they gave us, we preferred to just stroll the grounds at our own... More

Fantastic gardens with the Edison and Ford mansions to look round. The Thomas Edison complex is so interesting and you have the best of both worlds with Fords vehicles. The gardens are full of plants from all over the world which Edison brought back from his travels. Both houses are full of artefacts and are a joy to see. The... More

Love the trees decorated by various school children. Enjoyable family addition to Christmas traditions celebrating Jesus birth. The shops always offer something special for everyone.

Edison is really big in lower Fort Myers and the area around is spectacularly fresh and well cared for ,,, A ride through will grab your artistic yard designs

What a great way to spend an afternoon. We really enjoyed walking around the park, learning about Edison and the exotic tree species he had brought in from all over the world.

The big tree had a lot of branches all over. It was great to see something like that one. You would never believe that a tree would look like that. It was great.
