The grounds are meticulously taken care of. They homes historical significance has been maintained well. Although you can't go in the homes they've set it up so you can easily view the life style they loved. The mature trees and view are spectacular. Worth seeing as family or couple, or even alone. They offer guided tours or audio tours.

A 'Must Do' when visiting the Fort Myers area. The buildings, grounds and museum are wonderful. Try to get there early in the day as there is so much to see and do. We attended a vintage car show there in February.

The park includes the summer homes of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford on the Calusahatchee River. The houses were somewhat interesting. But you can't go inside.. which might have made the place more interesting. The most interesting aspect for me was the variety of exotic plants, trees and shrubs throughout the estates. The estate has a beautiful setting. It's worth... More

The site emphasizes Edison and is quite a history lesson. The grounds are lovely although I was disappointed to realize that we weren't going to go into the homes as it was a bit nippy out. Instead, we had views of the interiors from the wide verandas that were sufficient. We opted not to have a tour guide because of... More

We were visiting Fort Myers and our friends took us to see the Edison & Ford houses in the Park after dark. Admission was $15/person but well worth the fee. Mr & Mrs. Edison, dressed in period costume, greeted us and welcomed us to their home. The entire park is decked out in beautiful seasonal lights. The houses are all trimmed... More

It is great to visit the estates and take a trip to the past. Whenever family's or friends visit the Fort Myers area. This is a definite place to visit. This is also a great place to take children greater than 8 to really enjoy the tour.

Residents live in Edison Park because of its beauty and history. The blue car was donated by a dear friend that I have know for many years of my life. Fort Myers is very fortunate to have this in the City. It draws visitors from far and near. It is taken very good care of. The plants and trees are... More

We have been here twice over the last decase with family. A historical treat. Go prepaired to learn but also enjoy the gardening and homes.
