We love to visit McGregor Blvd. to see the Christmas lights on the palms. The Edison Ford Winter Homes are stunning at Christmastime.

This is a slow drive down a fairy narrow street that at times widens into a divided boulevard. It is lined with mature palm trees and old mansions including the Thomas Edison and Henry Ford winter estates. Very nice during the holiday season with many homes decorated with Christmas lights. If you have a car then take time to drive... More

These trees were started/planted many years ago with the assistance of the Jasmine Garden Club of Ft. Myers. It is such a beautiful street to drive (walk, bike, jog) down with these majestic royal palms lining each side of the street.

I'll never forget the first view I had of this stretch of palm-lined boulevard in Fort Myers. It took my breath away. The towering royal palms on parade dazzled these northern eyes. Fort Myers is referred to as the palm tree city of the United States, and with good reason. As many times as we have driven this road since... More

You definitely feel you're in south Florida on the northern, more historical end of this long boulevard. From Rt 41 past the Edison Ford estates, and beyond, the palm trees soar above the road. It feels like Beverly Hills. Making a left ONTO this road can be tricky, however.

Just a simple roadway lined with tall palms. It was pretty but nothing out of this world. Busy street as well!

Old palm trees on both sides of road. Nothing to write home about except.... try any "east" side of the road eateries, like Clancy's Bar & Grill. Again, nothing to encourage you to make this area a destination point. Except: down the road further "north" is the old Edison & old Ford Estates that have walking tours throughout the year.

Yes it's kind of neat with all the palm trees stretching a good bit of the road but it's just a residential roadway so yes I like it but it doesn't blow me away. Personally I like a lot of the older homes that are along McGregor .

We expected Malls to be better than our shopping centres, we found this wasn't the case and so were a little disappointed.
