Thomas Edison arranged for the planting of the Royal Palm Trees that line McGregor for several miles. If you are heading to Fort Myers, you must drive down this boulevard. There are some beautiful home along it and the Caloosahatchee River is visable... More

I drive down this road daily and love it. Such a gorgeous drive, busy road but love the scenery. Whether you drive downtown or towards Fort Myers Beach you have so much to look at.

Very impressive drive through some of the oldest neighborhoods of Ft. Myers. To my knowledge this is the lagrest colletion of Royal palms anywhere in Florida.

In Fort Myers it is a must to drive along this long tree lined boulevard. It leads to the Edison Fort Winter Estates and it was the brain child of Thomas Edison when he bought the land for the estate.

This is a really pretty drive. When you have the time to enjoy the vegetation and homes, this is a nice stroll.

Beautiful palm tree lined boulevard. Be sure to look at the beautiful older homes and architure. It is nice to explore some of the riverside streets and see lovely homes and some river vistas
