We expected Malls to be better than our shopping centres, we found this wasn't the case and so were a little disappointed.

The road meanders along the houses on the river including the Edison and Ford Estates. Eclectic mix of old and new punctuated with the occasional restaurant and business. But watch out for falling Royal Palm Fronds !!!!! Ft Myers is the City of Palms, and these royals are over 30 feet in size , with 10 ft fronds falling periodically,... More

The blvd has lots of things off it like restaurants, shops, and the Edison estates. The road is lined with palm trees which gives the feel of being in Florida. I wouldn't make a special trip to see the road. Just combine it with something else to do as sort of a detour.

McGregor Blvd is a beautifully landscaped road with tall king palms lining the street. Beautiful older homes sit far back off the road, reminding one of the historical days of Fort Myers. The crown of the street is the Thomas Edison Estate...which is also well worth the visit.

I have traveled up and down this lovely street hundreds of times since the 1960s, when my grandparents lived on a cul-de-sac street coming off of McGregor Boulevard. It is as lovely today as it has been in past decades. The royal palms planted and replaced along this street seem to go on and on, and the feeling one gets... More

With a good mix of restaurants, McGregor from College to downtown is a must see. It's the 'real' old Florida.

I used to live in Fort Myers, FLA 11 years ago, back then McGregor Blvd was very beautiful with homes and small and quaint restaurants, however this June 2014, the area has turned dumpy, variety of people live there now who do not take pride in there homes and it is a shame.

As above a street is a street but as I live in a cold boring country this is a pretty place to pass through, now I would never say go out of your way to go here but if your passing by take a divert, go see what this part of fort myers has to offer.

This is definitely a nice street to drive (or walk), but it is a fairly busy street-so use caution. The homes are very nice and there are many nice neighborhoods off this street. I recommend taking a stroll (park at Publix) and walk past the Edison and Ford estates and farther up the road. You may want to hit one... More

It is a street lined with palm trees, it is nice to drive through but it is not a must to see. However when you drive to fort Myers beach, just drive by and have a look.
