Went there for a wine reception/opening night of Dog ?days of Summer. U fortunately some artists took this theme too literally...enough dogs already. $5 suggested donation for a glass of wine...only one inch of wine was given for that donation. Small gallery, too crowded.

Understanding the role that this group plays in the community helps one appreciate that they're doing the best they can- some of their exhibitions are well curated and worth visiting. Some are not as well organized- best advice- go without any expectations and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Prominently positioned at the corner of Colonial and McGregor...this place is somehow a little hard to see and even more difficult to get to. Worth it though...you'll find an ever-changing exhibit of local artists. Often from schools and other local art programs. FREE

The Alliance for the Arts is a remarkable venue. Local artists display their work, theater is performed, and literary arts are featured in performance and open mic. Fine art lovers will enjoy the time spent in the gallery. There is a calendar of events on-line.

It was a beautiful day and we were ready for an outdoor concert. Parking was ample and easy. Admission was $20.00 at the door and we were greeted with welcoming smiles at the entrance. Lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, food, beverages were all allowed and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time, us included. The music was great! We danced and... More
