This is just a lovely little place to visit, with quaint book shops, tea rooms, etc to walk around. The butterfly garden was very nice, and the ladies there most helpful. The price might be a bit much for what it is, but it's a non-profit and a good place to rest some of your dollars for a while.

Easy and free parking. Beautiful landscaping an absolutely wonderful restaurant, shops, fudge, books. When you go into the exhibition area, Mary Jane was there to warmly welcome you and spend time helping you to learn about what they had to share. It is a small space but it is so pleasant to be in there with all the butterflies and... More

One room with a few butterflies. They wanted I believe $15 bucks to see a few butterflies. Give me a break. Waste of time. Just go to the park and you'll see the free butterflies.

I like that it's a nonprofit organization. The staff in the coffee shop are excellent. She was very friendly and helpful. The actual butterfly exhibit isn't that great. We saw only 4 different types of butterflies. Somewhat disappointed.

Besides a beautiful collection of butterflies, the Estates boast a wonderful crepe dinning. Our favorite is the seafood crepe with a small bit of green salad.

This is my second year visiting the Butterfly Estates. My niece was excited to go and we were in for a real treat. The butterflies were super active and I got tons of pictures. We even saw one laying eggs! It was amazing! My niece found a deceased butterfly, which we gave to one of the workers and was told... More

My 3 year old son and I both loved it! A great way to waste some time. It was affordable, educational and the butterflies were beautiful. We plan on going back!

The docents are knowledgeable and friendly. Will tell you as much as you want or leave you to your own musings. The price of admission is high but worth it, a beautiful place to contemplate and meditate.

I was surprised to see so many poor reviews! Yes, it's small, but beautiful inside and small means a better chance to see and photograph the butterflies! I didn't find the price that bad, considering it's being used to save the butterflies! However, it is very hot inside, you will sweat! I enjoyed stalking the butterflies waiting for that perfect... Although fairly small, this is a well planned butterfly and flower conservatory. There are several benches placed inside the garden,as well as small pools and a waterfall. Goldfish, Koi, and turtles are a bonus. We saw at least 15 different butterflies including a Zebra Swallowtail when we were there in early May. A good place to take younger children.
