Run by dedicated, welcoming and knowledgable staff, a small but charming butterfly centre with numerous local varieties of butterfly.

Found it a little difficult to find the 1st time but well worth it. The fee is worth it. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The sheer quantity of butterflies is remarkable .it is so well worth it. Do go and see it and if you can afford to donate more than the admission

A jewel box of a place! Must visit! Butterfly lovers and kids will love this place! Visited on a rainy day, so the butterflies were not as active as on a sunny day, but they were still easily observed. It's important you take the weather into account when planning your visit or you might be disappointed. Staff was very friendly... More

The butterfly estates has a little bit for everyone. They have two restaurants, a gift shop, and an educational butterfly house. What a wonderful place to visit if you are going to be in southwest florida!

This is a true conservatory of butterflies. They work hard to raise and repopulate native butterflies, from the area, as well as Monarchs. Even though it is enclosed, since it was chilly outside, the butterflies posed for lots of photos. Very peaceful and tranquil.

Admission is $12 a person to walk through a 1,000 sq ft(?) building. Our group were seniors so there was a $1 discount. Lots of butterflies but no way itcanbe worth that much.

this is a very relaxing place. It is an enclosed garden full of butterflies. You can wander around and make friends with a butterfly or two on your own but they have a very knowledgeable staff also. they have butterfly releases into the garden during the day. There is restaurant on site with excellent food and a very nice gift... More

This place is far more than a pretty place to see butterflies. They have a knowledgeable breeding program, and as you walk thru this peaceful place (surrounded by soft harp or guitar music) the docents will show you the tiniest caterpillars that have hatched from the tiniest little eggs there that I have ever seen. It was a cool day... More

This was a very informational visit. It was nice to see the care and concern of all employees. Today, it was cool so the butterflies were not very active. I would recommend going on a warmer day so the butterflies will be buzzing around!

The kids really enjoy this attraction and learn a lot. It is great to have a place to take the kids when they are visiting from out of state
