This symphony has a long season. So much of Florida is just Jan. Feb. and March. Southwest Florida Symphony performs from November through April. We recently saw a Marvin Hamlisch review. It was beautiful. The music did this great composer justice. The singers who joined them for this occasion were wonderful. How lucky to have this group in southwest Florida.

From the full classical concerts at the Barbara B. Mann, through the smaller chamber concerts at BIG Arts, Sanibel or Shell Point Retirement Village, to the Pops concerts with a variety of popular guest artists you can't go wrong with a night out with the SWFLSO!

I have nothing negative to say about the SW Florida Symphony. I loved every show we've seen! The Christmas one was beautiful and we loved the way the symphony implemented the childrens ballet, etc. Very entertaining!! Would go back again and again!

We've been subscribers and donors to the Symphony for decades because it enriches our lives and the community in general. The only fully professional orchestra in Lee County and the oldest in Southwest Florida, the Southwest Florida Symphony provides artistic and educational programs of which we can all be proud. Our community cannot continue to attract top-quality residents and businesses... More

I like the way The Southwest Florida Symphony works hard to present a worthwhile orchestrated evening. Often we have an opportunity to learn from a previewing talk or occasional discussion. The series each year has very affordable prices and there are always series packaged deals and occasionally discount opportunities as well. The Barbara Mann Theater is an impressive venue in... More

Fully professional orchestra, a joy to listen to. Every performance is top notch. Great mix of performance selections from classical to romantic.

I'm a professional musician who travels a lot. I've been following this orchestra for about 12 years now and this year has been by far their best! Bring your kids, bring your date, you're going to feel the sound coming from all those instruments going right through you. If you enjoy listening to sound coming through headphones or really good... Nice touch of culture for this area. A real gem for this local. The group works with local schools and often has high school musicians play with them.

Have attended three programs by the Southwest Florida Symphony. Coming from NYC, didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprised.
