We put our boat in at this Marina and found the staff very helpful advice on how to get to Cabbage Key. They also gave us good advice on navigating the shallow channel to the river. It can be confusing and you must obey the head speed so it takes a while to hit the open water. The parking area... More

We rented a boat for a day during our recent trip to Sanibel. We told the person at the desk that we would be fishing but no mention was made of a charge to clean the live well. We returned the boat 20 minutes early and while we were trying to unload our gear the staff was hosing out the... More

Sea shell hunting, beautiful sandy beaches, cottages had sea shells lining their gardens! Terrific lunch at the Fish House. Fun atmosphere too!

Very nice marina with great restaurant. Gramma Dotts (not sure of spelling) is super popular. Don't go Sunday evening unless you have reservations unless you are prepared to wait at least an hour. Went for lunch and it was great.

This is Port Sanibel Marina, not Sanibel Marina as other reviewers have mistakenly identified. First off, the staff was very friendly and helpful. From booking to going over the boat, they were very enthusiastic and helpful. Now for the bad news... we rented the Grady White center console boat for 4 adults and 2 small children. The boat seemed to... More

Visiting Fort Myers from Canada we were very disappointed with Sanibel Island. The driving on and off the island is horrendous and took literally hours (hour on and hour and a half to get off - on a weekday). The beaches were nice for finding shells but the water was murky and the fish smell was pretty strong. We would... More

Staff was friendly and reassuring. We had never been in sea kayaks and we had 6 & 8 year olds as well as my parents in their late sixties. My parents went in a double and my youngest and I did too. 8 year old managed the kayak by herself. Clearly marked map was provided and we saw manatees up... More

My family had a wonderful time kayaking while in Ft Myers. The day was too chilly for the beach but perfect for paddling around the lagoon in tandem kayaks! Our ages range from 13-70 and Everyone had a blast! It was the highlight of our vacation. I feel like we found a hidden gem! We enjoyed the peaceful lagoon, saw... More

Took my two 12 year old boys to go kayaking here. An awesome time! It was a good value as well compared to other places to kayak in the area. We did some price shopping. About $50 for two kayaks. (a one person and a two person) They provide you a clearly labeled map that guides you through the kayaking... More
