Had the opportunity to book a private charter with my family of 4 with Captain Dan. Unfortunately, there was NO wind the day we chartered the 1/4 day sail so Captain Dan needed to use the motor (very slow) to push us along. However, the fact that there was no wind was out of everyone's control. Captain Dan is wonderful!!!!!... More

Captain Ron provides a unique and most enjoyable day on His mighty sailing ship .Three of us were lucky enough to sail the sea with the wind on our sails and enjoy a most delightful 4 hours sail. Captain Ron is a fine host . Our 4 hour sail was everything we expected and more. Thank you Captain Ron for... More

My first experience with sailing and specifically with Captain Dan was terrific and definitely met my expectation. He kept things loose told number of stories regarding experience sailing and also provided some laughs. The group was great and very friendly so think that helped with experience. We saw sea turtles along with passing dolphins. What I also greatly appreciated gave... More

We had a great time. We liked that it was cloudy so we didn't get hot and sunburned. The boat is well maintained and clean. The captain/owner is friendly and informative. You can take your own snacks and drinks-except no red wine or tomato juice as they stain the deck. Thank you Captain Dan for a great day, we want... More

I am so glad I did this. It was my first time sailing and I am happy I chose Magic wind. Dan he Captain was very nice and professional. He makes you feel right at home and so comfortable. Everything was just perfect and will definitely go again when I go back next year. Simply Fabulous!!!

We felt right at home with Captain Dan! As soon as we stepped foot on the boat, it felt like we had known him for years. What a fabulous way to see Fort Myers Beach and the Sanibel Lighthouse! The dolphins swam right up next to the boat. We saw more dolphins during our sailing than the people we knew... More

We went out for the morning sail yesterday, and although the wind could have blown a lot more, we had a great time. It's a lovely well-maintained boat -- sparkling, actually. Captain Dan is an engaging guy with lots of stories and a good eye for the wildlife to be seen. And, a very capable captain. Can't imagine how it... More

Gorgeous boat, great Captain, boy does he have it easy, full power main and autopilot! Out of slip to gulf and under full sail power in 20 minutes! Fabulous cruise along Ft Myers beach, hit lucky, saw dolphin, sea turtles and even a shark! Boat sails like dream, cockpit area fully cushioned, comfy, and totally canopied for shade. Loved every... I have visited the beaches of Sanibel and Ft. Myers but never enjoyed them from a sea point of view. Two of my friends and I took an opportunity to book a 2 1/2 hour sail from Salty Sam's Marina in Ft. Myers Beach and were delighted with Captain Dan and his fully automated 38' sloop. We brought snacks, took... More
