We sailed this morning with Captain Dan for the 1/4 day sail and all of us (including two adult children, 20 and 22) really enjoyed ourselves. The boat was in pristine shape and Captain Dan obviously takes pride in his investment. Everything above and below was in tip top shape. I was fascinated with Captain Dan's story and how he... More

We enjoyed a very relaxing afternoon with Captain Dan. Well worth it! We met some wonderful people on the sail as well. He was very professional, personal and entertaining, a true midwesterner. We will be back to see Captain Dan on our next visit to Ft. Myers Beach. More

What a great experience!  Captain Dan, Diane and The Star of Orion are a first class operation.  Highly recommended! My 50th birthday sail will go down in history.   Thanks to our crew, the Ft Myers Coast Guard has retrieved their long lost training mannequin, Pedro! More

Life on a sailing yacht is an experience of a different kind. I knew it from my early childhood on my father's yacht, but could only reminisce for some 40 years since. This little cruise brought it all back. Plus, my wife finally knows what I am talking about: No noise and stink, gliding along, feeling the breeze and the... More

Captain Dan and the 'Star of Orion' provided a very entertaining and fun cruise at a very affordable price. We experienced a great sail during the 1/4 day cruise. I recommend this sailing adventure to anyone wanting to experience open water sailing on a very comfortable boat. Captain Dan was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sailing, but was also very... More

Another super vacation day on Ft. Myers Beach thanks to Captain Dan and his wife, Diane. Great boat, great wind, great company! The sail was the best day sail charter that we have experienced. ( We took the 4 hour trip!) The Hunter 38' is a nice sailing vessel and Captain Dan and Diane made everyone feel safe and right... More

Took the sunset cruise and made memories that will last a lifetime. My kids, 9 and 10 yrs old, we're skeptical of going at first, likening the idea of a sailboat cruise to a 2.5 hr pontoon boat ride. They now put it as one of the highlights of our trip (along with the zip line tour in TN). Thank... More

We had a great time with Capt Dan and thoroughly enjoyed his skill, story telling, and the other family that shared the boat with us. The boat could accomodate more people but 6 passengers was ideal. We took the sunset cruise on a Saturday night and enjoyed the scenery, the wind and Dan takes great care of his boat. Everything... More
