This museum is a true step back in time with cars from days gone past, memorabilia from FDR and other presidential campaigns as well as some old newspapers from WWII era. A member of staff greeted us at the door, she was pleasant and provided us with some information about the museum. The entry fee of $10 per person was a... More

One of our family is a car enthusiast, so we ventured to this (slightly out of the way) museum. There is now a $10 cash only admissions charge. Collection includes sub collections car parts ie hood ornaments, cigarette lighters, kname plates, horns (including the Wolf Whistle with illustration that leaves no room for doubt), old Life Magazines, a room on... We visited this auto museum because the main collection is all dedicated to the Packard automobile. My father-in-law restored a 1940 one and we wanted to visit this museum, see other years and get a book and photos of the place to show my father-in-law. When we arrived, the front door was locked but a sign indicated to “ring the... More

This sprawling building houses about four dozen Packards from 1909 to the 50's,each of which is in mint condition. There are no other makes of cars, despite the museum,s more expansive name. Part of the visit is guided and the rest you see on your own, but there are interpretive descriptions of each car, some of which are interesting to... More

This wonderful museum tells the Packard story in cars. A great opportunity to see cars of old with whitewall tyres and running boards, including an ex Presidential car. Ask to speak to Frank who makes the exhibits come to life!

I don't know how much longer this museum will be in Ft. Lauderdale, but it is a must see. Each of the cars is a real work of art, beautiful in every way, and the collection is fairly large.

If antique cars is your passion this place is a must! Frank, our tour guide was amazing and made sure our group was properly informed and entertained. No flash photography and hands off all exhibits. There are lots of photo opportunities but hands off. The museum has over 35 cars, some restored some not along with parts from that era... More
