This museum is a reproduction of a Packard showroom from the 1920s. On display are 22 Packard motor cars from the 1900s to the 1940s, all in full working order. Among them, are Roadsters with compartments for golf clubs, a doctor's coupe with a compartment for his medical bag, and a 1929 645 Dual Cowl Phaeton that can self-lubricate its chassis as it drives along the road.

Nice afternoon

Loved the vintage cars and information about them. My husband especially appreciated the venue and display.

Of all the things to do, the one thing that I thought would be lame turned out to be the best. It was a very cool museum with amazing Packard vehicles and other items such as toys, gauges, etc... We arrived late and therefore had to hurry, but if and when we have the time to do it again I... More

The Museum located at 1527 Packard Ave (SW 1st Ave.) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, contains 22 Packard automobiles from 1900 to the 1940's, along with a gallery dedicated to the late President Franklin D. Roosevelt plus several special collections of automobile memorabilia. Only got to spend two hours but, I will go back soon and do an all dayer! The... More

This is a terrific museum if you're a Packard lover. Many cars (spanning decades) and tons of car memorabilia (not all Packard) to see. Wish the gift shop offered more.

Having visited Ft Lauderdale many times, it was a surprise to find this exceptional car museum. The only make of cars in the collection are Packard's, all of which are beautifully maintained and displayed. I think a better name for the museum would be The Fort Lauderdale Antique Packard Museum. There is, however, memorabilia from most of the car manufactures... More

A cold rainy day in Miami and we were looking for something to do (rain really limits the options here!). Found the museum on TA and decided to kill a couple of hours and give it a try. It was worth the trip and the time. Probably the best-maintained private car collection I've ever seen. What was surprising is that... More

Excellent museum if you love cars from that era. They are in such great shape that looks like you are stepping on a 1920's car dealership. A lot of memorabilia not just from Packard but from many other car manufacturers. The short haired lady is very nice and offers a lot of information if you ask her. Plan to spend... More

Met the owner and loved the antique cars, took all kinds of pictures. First day we arrived, they were closed for an event. Came back next day, and it was worth the trip.
