Need to have tutors for adults to they only have them for students. It is a very nice place to learn and very neat and clean. I would have gave them a five star but they lack in tutoring for adults that are in college. Very disappointed in that.

The AARLCC was the location that we hosted our 50th Anniversary Gala. It is a jewel that should not be overlooked when visiting Fort Lauderdale. The staff is exceptional, knowledgeable and very accommodating. They made our affair a special and enchanting evening!

I had a chance to finally visit on 9/26/2014. I was impressed with the architectural design of the outside of the building but that's about as far as it go. Once on the inside of library, I felt belittled as an African-American. For the biggest library in this urban community you would expect the book selection to be a little... More

The staff at the AARLCC is very professional and caring. The staff set up the class room for me to teach the computer class. This library is the best place to have and event. The library is a great learning environment. If you want to have a meeting and event here at the AARLCC you will not be disappointed. Terrence... More

The facility is beautiful, the staff is nasty and unaccommodating. This is NOT the place to have a meeting. If you want convenience, don't come here. Not much in the way of displays, really not worth the time.

We like to find free public attractions when visiting new places, and the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center was a good find! The building is modern and the sweeping staircase, tile, and sculpted statues and artifacts make it seem like an art museum as well. We enjoyed randomly browsing the hundreds of books and pieces of information in their... More

This was a great find. I learned a lot about the local community. There are so many resources here. The community is truly blessed to have this available.

A unique building with lovely artifacts, an active performance schedule, and hard-to-find research material.
