The area was good during the week days. On the weekends, is was full and dirty. Traffic was also harder and packing very hard to find. Avoid the area in weekends

The beach was very clean & beautiful. Easy to park in metered lots. We had lunch at 2 places right across from the beach. Wonderful food & beautiful view of the ocean!

Bathroom facilities available, playground and BBQ stands, but no nearby place to buy food or beverage!

The water was sooo warm. Wavy, but no under tow. Beware!! There were jellyfish in the water a few of the days I was there.

Fort Lauderdale's beach is one of the nicest, cleanest beaches in America. I've been going there since 1974 and it just gets better.

Miles of beach and a lovely route to run each morning, really enjoyed the sunrises. Lots of nice eateries are available along the front as well as the usual gift shop types.

Stayed at the Sheraton hotel which is right on the beachfront. The beach is soft sand and from where we stayed it was a pleasant walk along to Port Everglades, there are lots of beachfront bars and top class hotels, a fantastic place for a holiday or a short stay before a cruise, highly recommended.

One of the best beaches I have been too. very clean and warm water. There was small fish around for the kids to chase. We even got to see a sea turtle nest and baby sea turtles!
