We only had time to spend one day there but it was amazing. There were huge comfy recliners to rent and tables available. We also walked the pier and chatted with the local fisherman. Everyone was very nice. We had lunch at one of the local restaurants on the strip, steps from the beach. Highly recommend this beach to everyone.

Our first trip to Ft L was love at first sight. Having visited many of this world's great beaches, we were blown away by the energy of this place. Wonderful restaurants, beautiful beach, and wonderful people gave us the feeling of: Nice, Puerto Vayarta, Lake Michigan etc. We are seriously considering this for our retirement home.

Spend about 4 hours here in early January. Was a very warm sunny day, but very breezy. Got there around 10:30am and was able to find a spot in the city parking adjacent to the beach. Price for parking was fair, $2.50 per hour if I remember. Since it was early was easily able to find a place on the... More

If you attract bugs like I do, be careful lying on the sand. My feet and legs are so bitten up, its been a week and they are still itchy and red. I was told by the locals that its a sand mite or flea, other guests also mentioned getting bites on their feet. Uncrowded even on a nice weekend.... More

Not as fancy or famous as SoBe in Miami, but still nice beach with full of activities. Rent a bike and cycle whole area from south to north. Few steps from the beach is Beach Blvd where you can find restaurants, bars and shops.

Action. Fun in the sun! Rocking people-watching and places to eat and hang out on the boardwalk. Everything it's cracked up to be!

This beach is great. Clean with a great long path running alongside it, so it's flat - perfect for running or walking which a lot of people do. Great for people watching and although it not South Beach, I think it's better, there's plenty of restaurants and bars and of course hotels. The Ritz Carlton being the nicest one here... More
