Such a wonderful visit we had this past week to the City of Fort Lauderdale. We enjoyed walking the beachfront and the waterways.

I've never visited the Florida beachfront and I was really pleased at just how beautiful and clean it was. It felt very Caribbean. It was combed every morning and seems to be very well maintained.

Beautiful beaches with really warm water (at least in October). Well appointed and very clean area, shame about the roadwork which does tend to detract from a very attractive area. Many good restaurants and bars.

Loved the accessibility and ease of going to the sand. Disliked they didn't have a dedicated foot shower/spray

I would highly recommend Hotel Impossible... Prefect location but no management at all... Everything was dirty. . Showered with flip flops on.. carpet is fungus paradise. Old tv.. Pool was a toilet. It's so sad.. this place can be amazing. . Beach just a few steps away. Made it my business to get drunk so I was able to sleep... More

Great family beach! Wide open spaces, nice seaside, wonderful boardwalk and a lot of restaurants in the zone. Parking nearby is a little bit tedious but not impossible. Spending the day at the beach is really worth the trip from Miami and nearby neighbourhoods.
