The beach was beautiful. I saw no debris at all. The water was blue and clear and could walk a good distance out

Fort Lauderdale's beach has changed a lot since I lived there in the early 1980's. It is well kept, clean, and a great vacation destination. There is an ample variety of hotels/restaurants/shops for everyone's taste along A1A. Traffic is designed to move drivers without risking pedestrian safety.

The water was warm and welcoming. The waves were tame. Great place to learn how to Paddle board. Much seaweed on the sand with limited sea shells...Beachfront/sandy area is a narrow area from road to sand to water.

The Westin beach front has warm, clear shallow water. Clean beach. Great sand. The Westin is across the street from the beach. This is not as big of a deal as I thought it may be.

Ft Lauderdale's beachfront is well worth the visit. It is clean and sooo refreshing. Most days the water is so clear you can see to the fish swimming below.

I booked two rooms on Priceline for under one forty per room per night. Probably not too bad for Fort Lauderdale beach front hotel. But the hidden fees irked me. Perhaps I missed it when booking, but upon arrival I found out that parking is an added thirty+ per day, and valet only. First, unless you're visiting a place that... More

No shade in the area of the beach that I visited. Take your own shade. The beach is clean and not over crowed.

Not the best beach in Florida, but it's still very pretty. Nice water, white sand, however was very crowded and dirty. Maybe I just came at the busy time, but it was still beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone.

Clean, spacious beach. Seaweed was moderate during our stay and was not cleaned up daily - maybe once or twice a week. Weather was perfect. Sun Tower had complimentary chairs and umbrellas set up for us.

We stayed at Beachplace Towers(see my review), so were just over the road from the beach. I visited everyday and loved it! Whilst on July 4th, the beaches were obviously packed out,we loved watching the great firework display from the barge in the evening. The following week the beaches were quieter and it was a really lovely place to sit... More
