Great beach

Clean and soft sand, light waves, warm aqua water. Great sunrises. Walked the beach every morning and loved it.

This beach caters to just about everyone. Great views, shops and restaurants close by. If you get tired or need to take a break from the sun, you can find just about anything in the area.

I had some time in the morning before our cruise left. I walked pretty early in the morning down to the beach. It was so beautiful and clean. The local hotels were setting up umbrellas and chairs for their guests. I believe you could rent them from another company? I had to go down and put my feet in the... More

Loll about watching the world go by at any of the outdoor restaurants or stroll about catching the sales at a variety of stores at all dollar amounts. Restaurants abound and there is something for all tastes. Frequent fun events round out the experience of Las Olas

The one drawback for tourists was the fact that one company has a monopoly for umbrellas & chairs. Daily rentals were $20 for umbrellas & $12 each for chairs. If you're going to the beach several days, buy these items at the CVS or one of the other stores and leave them or give them away when departing.

Our last night in town we met friends for dinner when they learned we had not made it to Las Olas they took us there. Wow what an area of restaurants, clubs shops. Well maintained appeared very safe. Next time in town will spend more time here.

My family and I went to Las Olas Beach in mid March for our Spring Break vacation. Just what I had imagined it to be. Very populated area with tourist and high energy, lots of restaurants and open patios on the street. Loud music, some have live music within the patios. Huge Margaritas and other cocktails offered. Nice beach area.... More

But avoid Spring Break unless you want to be a part of it. There are so many accommodation and dining options here, plus a great smattering of shops and entertainment that you probably won't feel inclined to venture further afield!
