We pass ths area almost when we stroll along the beach, so there is nothing special. The bars and restaurants close to the beach are ok, but not ours. We prefer the more hipper Places. Spend your day here or on a different part of Ft..Lauderdale makes no differenc to me,

Las Olas Beach in my opinion is the center of the Ft Lauderdale beach scene..you have the famous bar right across the street, the Elbow Room where many of the locals and serious partiers frequent... Las Olas Beach is the perfect people watching beach, a close second to Miami Beach...

Nice clean beach, great swimming, umbrella and chair rentals available. Lots of space and wasn't overly crowded.

Here there is an area where you can exercise, play basketball or have a picnic as tables and chairs are provided. If you don't like... More

We come here pre rise every year. Safe, clean lots of restaurants and bars with shopping along the strip. Do not need water shoes as it has a good long beach to stroll

We got off the water taxi at stop 7 and walked a block and a half to the beach. Then we walked along the beach and got back on the water taxi at stop 8. What a delightful way to enjoy a warm January afternoon.
