The water taxi system has many boats moving all around the area. We got a lot of information on houses and mega yachts while we rode from one destination to another. One cheap price - ride all day if you like. We got off at a restaurant and at a shopping mall. Don't worry about the time another boat comes...

our hotel we stayed at Rodeway inn fort lauderdale cruise port recommended this they sold the tickets and provide transportation. we saw nice homes went to las olas walked around to all the shops and art galleries.
then went to the beach.

If you want to see some cool yachts and some outrageous homes take the water taxi and enjoy the boat ride. Some of the yachts are amazing and the homes are beautiful. You stop at some nice restaurants so get the all dy pass. You might even see Johnny Depp on his yacht. Unfortunately the seats are not the greatest....
