We filled in some time during a 7 hour layover at Ft. Lauderdale airport. Took taxi to 5A stop near hotel. ( about $16 cab ride) got on water taxi and just c raised around until we decided to get off. Captain commentated on the super awesome 30-52 million dollar yachts and homes along the waterway. Our first boat had... More

The water taxi is a great way to get out on the water if you like boating. It is one of my favorite ways to go to different restaurants and other stops.

This began with aggravation, but ended happily, so please read to the end... The positive reviews I'd read put this at the top of our "must do" list. We arrived thirty minutes prior to the scheduled departure time, only to wait with others for over an hour. We were later told that the posted time reflected the weekend times, and... More

We enjoyed riding the taxi from one end of the waterway to other to grab a bite to eat. I wish the commentary changed in between the North and South route. Basically the ride back we heard the same detail.

A most enjoyable can't miss attraction. The captains of the water taxis always give a very informative narrative. Be sure not to get off the taxi before 3pm in September because once the thunder storm hits you'll have to take a taxi cab back to your hotel..or do like we did and hang at the bar all afternoon.

Great way to have a nice day in the intracoastal The staff tells you about the story of the billions dollars mansions and their owners Asking to many times to give them a tip, when the price per day is pretty high $22 per adult all day long

Lots of good reviews for this activity, but this won't be one of them. Took the Water Taxi from Stop 10 to Stop 7 for a Catamaran excursion. The trip to the excursion was okay with two minor exceptions: the wrong schedule was posted on their website, and the drivers were confused about whether we were staying on the same... More

We took the water taxi just to see the sights. Price was reasonable and it was very informative. Inside seats were a little uncomfortable because they had no backs. Enjoyed seeing all the expensive homes and boats along the river.

Excellent way to see the area. Crew were polite and fun. Give a great tour of the waterway and advice on what to see and do. Only criticism the boat was delayed for a check and waiting passengers who missed the ten o'clock had to wait until 11.40am for next boat. Would have been nice if someone had told us.

It's $22 for the day - so make a day of it. Went around on the pontoon boat which is the larger one - there is a full bar on the boat - but was not well stocked - the boat smelled a little. Not a great tour guide - but a fun way to get around for the day... More
