It used to be a taxi now it is an infrequent bus. You could hail one from a resatuant and they would come and pick you up...not any more.

An interesting way to see the natural as well as the man made attractions. We started out at the Crown Plaza in Hallandale and went north to Ft. Lauderdale then boat transfer to other parts of the area. Passed by multi million dollar yachts and homes. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly with insights to the local attractions. It is... We grabbed the Water Taxi from Stop 11 (Shooter's) and very much enjoyed the route. It was highlighted by the patter and informational narrative of the guides on board - who knew their stuff. We did not take the Hollywood leg of the trip, but did take the jaunt to Las Olas, disembarking for a walk along Las Olans featuring... More

Want to see the homes and yachts of some of the richest people, while catching a drink or meal? This is a fun way to spend the day. You get on the water taxi at one of 10-11 stops and get on and off anytime all day for the low price of $26 per person for the day. This is... More

Took the water taxi south from the dock at 17th. Enjoyed the view of Port Everglades, the intercostal waterway, nature areas and high rise hotels & condos of Hollywood. 2 1/2 hour round trip to Hollywood if you stay on the taxi. We went to Hollywood Beach for the afternoon. Stop within easy access of the beach. Schedules posted, just... More

We met some very personable and informative people on the water taxi. Would recommend as a very good way to see Ft Lauderdale. We were most impressed with Captains Bill and Jim, and first mate Sally.

Would recommend the Hollywood only trip if looking at cost and kids. Fun to take. Longer than I thought. Nice time. Would have planned better if I known. Ran out of time on parking so had to make the trip short. Would recommend paying for 8 hours of time if you do the taxi to allow time at the beach.

Take it to Hollywood and catch the trolley to old downtown Hollywood. Good time. Well worth the money and more fun than driving to Hollywood.

Great way to see Fort Lauderdale and get around for a good price. Love taking vistors on the water Taxi, you get to see some sites, you can get off and back on at the stops for the same price. Fall and spring are of course the best time to use this service as they are open air with no... More
