I went on this dinner cruise with my mother who is in a wheelchair. Be aware the island is only moderately accessible, and my mother was unable to access the bathroom. Our first visit to Florida, we were naively expecting this jungle/everglades cruise to, in fact, involve cruising through jungle & everglades. It does not. Essentially the whole thing feels... More

Took the afternoon ride and was impressed by the mansions we cruised by. Did not care much for the zoo on the island but I guess it would be nice for the kids. Yes the tour guide has a few corny jokes but overall he is knowledgeable and informative. I took the dinner cruise years ago and wanted to do... More

We had some time to kill before check-in so we took took the tour because it was cheap and we had nothiing better to do. The tour guide was informative and all of the people along the route were friendly and almose everyone waved as we passed by. In the middle of the tour we stopped at their small animal... More

We have done it for the first time about 10 years ago. If you decide to do it, I recommend to do the dinner cruise. It could be chilly on the water in the evening, so bring your warm clothes. It is a very nice boat ride. They show you a lot of mansions, that belongs to some wealthy celebrities.... More

We went on the dinner cruise and enjoyed the cruise over. Our narrator on the boat was informative and humorous. We had taken this cruise before and enjoyed it. This time the dinner was not as enjoyable as we remembered on the past. The chicken was very dry and the shrimp inedible. Maybe this was just that one evening. I hope... More

My wife and I had a fine evening aboard the Jungle Queen. We saw a side of Ft. Lauderdale that we hadn`t seen before and the commentary from the captain was enlightening, if not a bit corny at times. The many canals of Ft. Lauderdale leading off in all directions certainly, for me, solidifies the city`s by-line as the Venice... More

We enjoyed the boat trip though I would recommend wrapping up warmly as most of the time you are in the shade. The narrative was entertaining and informative and we saw a lot of amazing boats and houses. I didn't enjoy stopping on the island much as I'm not really that keen on alligator shows or animals in cages but... More

Went on the dinner cruise and had a fun evening. We had relatives from out of state visiting and we were glad we could show them the area. They really enjoyed seeing all the big homes and yachts. Our guide was knowledgeable about all the homes, owners and the history of Ft. Lauderdale. Jokes were corny at times, but it... More

ok so if u want to see the sights and a cute short show then this is the cruise but u had to pay extra for the CRAP food--omg--maybe 2 star food -the cole slaw was watery-the beans sucked, the chicken was dry, the frozen shrimp was inedible, and the cake was crap too--the ONLY think that i could eat... The Jungle Queen Riverboat cruise was a fun, informative and fantastic way to see the “Venice of America.” For over 75 years the Jungle Queen has been touring the canals in Fort Lauderdale. The Jungle Queen is a majestic, charming riverboat that conjures up memories of a by-gone era. We saw super yacht after super yacht moored in front of... More
