Experience a little southern hospitality on this "All You Wish to Eat" BBQ Ribs, Chicken and Shrimp Dinner Cruise served family style with all the trimmings. Enjoy a pleasant and humorous commentary by the Captain about the many interesting sights and beautiful homes you'll see as we cruise up the New River, past Millionaire's Row, en route to our tropical isle to enjoy dinner and a hilarious Variety Show. The show is followed by a moonlit ride back to the dock. More than 18 million guests over the years have enjoyed the fun-filled, relaxing evening aboard. A unique evening you'll talk about, laugh about and always remember. There is nothing else like it. Jungle Queen also offers fully narrated daily Sightseeing Cruises up the historic New River past plush waterfront homes, downtown Fort Lauderdale, a bit of the Everglades and a stop-off at our tropical isle to see rare birds, monkeys and an alligator exhibition. The only true way to see Fort Lauderdale. « less

This overall was the best Ive done in the Pompano/Fort Lauderdale area. The crew was out of this world. We went to the day cruise and the night dinner cruise. Both was excellent. Got to see some rich and famous homes. If ever in the area; do check this out.

Went on the afternoon cruise, because our first choice of the day (playing golf) got washed out. First off in addition to the tour price you have to pay $7 to park, which is at a reduced rate (provided you keep your boat tickets). The cruise was pretty good - I think mostly for the wow factor in seeing how... More

The cruise was nice and informative. The dinner location was kind of a creepy twilight zone experience (the lightning and thunder didn't help). Food was not great. Show was family friendly but a bit too long after a heavy meal. I can see there is a solid effort to provide a full evening of dinner and entertainment, but all the... More

The Cruise was great, you are on a covered ship so with the breeze it was nice. They give you a lot of facts about the houses you are seeing and the guy seemed nice (corny jokes and all). The island made me sad, super small cages for the animals and a small area for two alligators. It was POURING... More

Our trip aboard the Jungle Queen was the fourth in the past 30 or so years. We were somewhat disappointed over some of the changes that had been made from the past. However, the boat ride was very nice with ample descriptions regarding the various homes, area, and yachts. The boat ride from the dock to the Jungle Queen Island... More

A very pleasant and informing rivercruise with lots of witty info.Enjoyed very much up to the visit to the tropical island. As an animal lover I was disgusted to see a very overweigt fat guy sit on a crocodile right where the vital organs are, lifting his legs from the ground while bending the animals head right back as far... We really had a nice time sightseeing the Venice of america, crew members are very friendly and helpful. Their tropical isle needs more animals but we enjoyed it and the alligator show was cool.

We went on the afternoon cruise (no dinner.) I can't really comment on the dinner cruise except to say that the boat itself is not in the least luxurious and eating dinner in such an environment is not enticing. Our guide was very informative and quite funny. The kids enjoyed stopover at their "private island". Be sure to take a... More

Take a break from the beach and let your sunburn heal. This is a great tour of some of Fort Lauderdale historical locations and homes of the rich and famous. The tour boat captain will point out the sites with some humorous stories. Halfway through the trip you will stop at their private "Island" for snacks and an alligator show,... More
