A "Must" in Fort Lauderdale for 78 years! Experience a little southern hospitality on this "All You Wish to Eat" BBQ Ribs, Chicken and Shrimp Dinner Cruise served family style with all the trimmings. Enjoy a pleasant and humorous commentary by the Captain about the many interesting sights and beautiful homes you'll see as we cruise up the New River, past Millionaire's Row, en route to our tropical isle to enjoy dinner and a hilarious Variety Show. The show is followed by a moonlit ride back to the dock. More than 18 million guests over the years have enjoyed the fun-filled, relaxing evening aboard. A unique evening you'll talk about, laugh about and always remember. There is nothing else like it. Jungle Queen also offers fully narrated daily Sightseeing Cruises up the historic New River past plush waterfront homes, downtown Fort Lauderdale, a bit of the Everglades and a stop-off at our tropical isle to see rare birds, monkeys and an alligator exhibition. The only true way to see Fort Lauderdale.

My significant other and I went on the 3 hour afternoon Tour. We bought tickets the same day. The views are wonderful! The breeze is amazing. There is a bar and light snacks on the boat. You will view mansions, downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Yachts, and visit a little island. On the island, there is an alligator show, exotic birds, and... More

Overall, the tour was nice! Food was GREAT!! Entertainment was also really good. We had a waiter and a waitress. The waiter was SO NICE and very funny and personable. The waitress, not such much. She definitely didn't act like she enjoyed her job. I was a little disappointed that water was the only drink available at first and then... More

We had taken this cruise a long time ago and it was fun to revisit it. The dinner and cruise is well worth the cost. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Ft. Lauderdale.

We took my husband out for his birthday on the Jungle Queen River cruise. It was relaxing and interesting listening to the history of the Mansions along the waterway. The bathrooms, and boat were clean, staff friendly and even a full bar on the top deck. This is perfect for any occasion. The island is full of interesting animals, food... More

My husband, the other couple and I, with many other passengers, took the Cruise, Tour and Dinner excursion (5-10pm)....Tour to see the "yachts, homes and extravagant living of the "rich and famous" there in the Fort Lauderdale area.. this was fantastic, continue the cruise to a buffet dinner of barbecue ribs, chicken and shrimp with all of the fixings....the food,... My friend and I just had a three-hour cruise on the Jungle Queen. I think the best part for both of us was seeing the amazing homes of the "rich and famous." Gorgeous houses and boats. It's relaxing to wind through the river and look at the houses (not all of those are full of millionaires). There's a private "island"... More

One of our motivations for taking this cruise was an old picture that I remember from years ago of my parents aboard the Jungle Queen when they took the cruise. That said, we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it. The crew was polite and friendly. The cruise narrator was funny. The cruise down the New River was... More

There's a ton of choices when it comes to cruise tours in this area. I chose the Jungle Queen based on its longevity as a tour as well as other reviews. Found a coupon in a brochure which brought it down to about $25 per person for the 3 hour tour. I hear there are sometimes Groupons as well, so... More

Staying at the Bahia Cabana and not doing the Jungle Queen tour is like "get a shower and not getting wet". Narrator was great and had a good sense of humor, the only thing I missed was getting a beer on the island this is available on the ship only.
