Owner description: A "Must" in Fort Lauderdale for 78 years! Experience a little southern hospitality on this "All You Wish to Eat" BBQ Ribs, Chicken and Shrimp Dinner Cruise served family style with all the trimmings. Enjoy a pleasant and humorous commentary by the Captain about the many interesting sights and beautiful homes you'll see as we cruise up the New River, past Millionaire's Row, en route to our tropical isle to enjoy dinner and a hilarious Variety Show. The show is followed by a moonlit ride back to the dock. More than 18 million guests over the years have enjoyed the fun-filled, relaxing evening aboard. A unique evening you'll talk about, laugh about and always remember. There is nothing else like it. Jungle Queen also offers fully narrated daily Sightseeing Cruises up the historic New River past plush waterfront homes, downtown Fort Lauderdale, a bit of the Everglades and a stop-off at our tropical isle to see rare birds, monkeys and an alligator exhibition. The only true way to see Fort Lauderdale.

The Jungle Queen river cruise is an interesting and relaxing ride on a sunny afternoon. There is also an evening cruise and a dinner cruise. (We didn't take those.) The boat ride was okay, seeing the beautiful homes was cool, and stopping on a jungle island to see animals in cages was a fun stop for some, but what impressed... More

We took the 90 minute tour which was just enough. We got to travel up and down the riverfront and saw many of the beautiful homes, mansions and yachts. The narrator was both interesting and humorous and kept your interest the entire trip. Definitely something to do while in Ft Lauderdale.

we took the 3 hour tour of the intercostal highway and for the price that was all that was needed. The 'jungle island' not so much, birds hiding in cages, raccoons caged (I don't know why you need to see raccoons) and 2 sad alligators with a 'wrestling show' as well as over priced food and beverages. Did enjoy the... More

Love the tour on the water about the mansions...we stopped at a small beach area where they had birds and alligators to see. Back on boat to home...great ride

This was my second time doing the tour. This trip we did the morning cruise (1.5 hrs) and skipped the island excursion included in the 3hr afternoon tour. We enjoyed the shorter cruise. Get there early and sit on the 2nd deck (middle) on the right hand side as you're looking toward the front of the boat from the inside.... More

Cruelty to animals. They take you to an island where a man beats up on an alligator and you get tovwalk past animals in very small cages. If you like animals do not participate!

We were visiting from Charlotte, NC prior to a Western Caribbean Cruise: We bought tickets for the Jungle Queen Riverboat Cruise in Ft. Lauderdale after purchasing tickets for a SERENITY YACHT CRUISE in Pompano Bch, FL . SERENITY YACHT CRUISES canceled the day of the tour as they "did not have enough paying customers to make it profitable". Boy, are... More

Since the weather was not conducive to beach activities, we decided to take the Jungle Queen Riverboat in the afternoon. It is a 3 hour excursion with a stop on the "jungle island". The good: 1. The price was good. 2. Get there early and sit on the right side of the boat. There is more to see and information... More
