Experience a little southern hospitality on this "All You Wish to Eat" BBQ Ribs, Chicken and Shrimp Dinner Cruise served family style with all the trimmings. Enjoy a pleasant and humorous commentary by the Captain about the many interesting sights and beautiful homes you'll see as we cruise up the New River, past Millionaire's Row, en route to our tropical isle to enjoy dinner and a hilarious Variety Show. The show is followed by a moonlit ride back to the dock. More than 18 million guests over the years have enjoyed the fun-filled, relaxing evening aboard. A unique evening you'll talk about, laugh about and always remember. There is nothing else like it. Jungle Queen also offers fully narrated daily Sightseeing Cruises up the historic New River past plush waterfront homes, downtown Fort Lauderdale, a bit of the Everglades and a stop-off at our tropical isle to see rare birds, monkeys and an alligator exhibition. The only true way to see Fort Lauderdale. « less

Fun to see how the other half lives. Beautiful mansions and unbelievable yachts. The tour guides are very entertaining. I thought it was a little expensive for a 90 minute cruise however.

This is one of those trips you take to learn about the rich! It's a 3 hour tour that stops along the way to visit an alligator show. The captain points out a lot of homes and their owners along with some of his "funny" jokes. Nice trip.

It may seem ordinary at first, but the highlight will always be the speaker/hosts. Our host was very funny. I took this tour alone, so imagine the horror of not having anyone to talk to. The host was very engaging enough and there was no dull moment. The side-trip to the island was ok. The only interesting part would be... More

We did a cruise on the historic Jungle Queen riverboat with a group of more than 100 of our friends at Lynn's recent high school reunion. The boat leaves from the Bahia Mar docks and plys the Intracoastal Waterway and The New River. During the 3 hour trip the tour guide does a very nice monologue about the history along... More

Knowing I had family visiting from England I decided to book the jungle queen trip. I have done this myself many times before. I booked for 25 Sept and was informed the day before that it had been canceled. I confirmed that the trip would be running on 2 Oct and rebooked. We arranged our day around the trip and... More

Having read other reviews beforehand I was not expecting much from the food or entertainment on this trip but actually I think they were much better than expected and for the ticket price very fair value . The ride to the island was very good the guide made it really interesting and fun . The rum punch chicken and ribs... More

This overall was the best Ive done in the Pompano/Fort Lauderdale area. The crew was out of this world. We went to the day cruise and the night dinner cruise. Both was excellent. Got to see some rich and famous homes. If ever in the area; do check this out.

Went on the afternoon cruise, because our first choice of the day (playing golf) got washed out. First off in addition to the tour price you have to pay $7 to park, which is at a reduced rate (provided you keep your boat tickets). The cruise was pretty good - I think mostly for the wow factor in seeing how... More

The cruise was nice and informative. The dinner location was kind of a creepy twilight zone experience (the lightning and thunder didn't help). Food was not great. Show was family friendly but a bit too long after a heavy meal. I can see there is a solid effort to provide a full evening of dinner and entertainment, but all the... More
