Owner description: A "Must" in Fort Lauderdale for 78 years! Experience a little southern hospitality on this "All You Wish to Eat" BBQ Ribs, Chicken and Shrimp Dinner Cruise served family style with all the trimmings. Enjoy a pleasant and humorous commentary by the Captain about the many interesting sights and beautiful homes you'll see as we cruise up the New River, past Millionaire's Row, en route to our tropical isle to enjoy dinner and a hilarious Variety Show. The show is followed by a moonlit ride back to the dock. More than 18 million guests over the years have enjoyed the fun-filled, relaxing evening aboard. A unique evening you'll talk about, laugh about and always remember. There is nothing else like it. Jungle Queen also offers fully narrated daily Sightseeing Cruises up the historic New River past plush waterfront homes, downtown Fort Lauderdale, a bit of the Everglades and a stop-off at our tropical isle to see rare birds, monkeys and an alligator exhibition. The only true way to see Fort Lauderdale.

I went on the Jungle Queen as a kid. I wasn't expecting much. I figured I'd try it for the sentimental value. I actually had a really nice time on the evening dinner cruise. It was nice to see all the xmas lights on the intracoastal. The captain pointed out all kinds of landmarks. You could hear him clearly which... More

Visiting a friend in the area and she took us on the dinner cruise. It was a fun 4 hours. It was cooling seeing all the big houses with their extravagant Christmas lights. The stories were great by Captain Ozzie. It takes about an hour each way to get to the island for dinner. Dinner was good. The ribs were... More

This is a very nice trip along the New River in Fort Lauderdale. It is only possible to see many of these properties from the water side view. The street view of the same properties is not so spectacular. The 3 hour trip has a narration on the way out to Jungle Island, a 45-60 minute stop. The narrator is... More

This was a 3.5 hour trip around the inland waterways. The Captain gave an interesting commentary on the vast houses and launches moored outside them. The stop on their island to watch alligator wrestling was nothing special but the afternoon was well spent.

Pick an evening that is not too hot to cruise on a riverboat down the New River and see beautiful multi-million dollar homes with narration. Arrive at a private "island" and and walk down the paths to some exotic rescue animals. The path takes you into a huge tropical dining area where you sit in long rows of tables. Huge... More

Enjoyed seeing the beautiful homes and amazing yachts along the waterway. The island stop was really a waste of time, looking at tropical birds in cages with such small openings that you could not take a decent picture. The alligator demonstration was very good, although if the ship was full there would not be room for more than 10-20% of... More

This is the best value in South Florida. Peaceful cruise on the river with great views of nice houses I will never be able to afford. But it is fun to look. Indian village is a nice stop for the kids as well. Easy to find and park. Never too crowded. I Always take visiting friends and family here.

We took the Jungle Queen Riverboat morning cruise. Fun tour. The guide was personable, giving tidbits about homes, yachts and their owners. Chill out and enjoy a little time on the water.

I have lived in South Florida all of my life and discovered this attraction during a company Holiday Party. The river boat is an open air paddle boat that travels through the waterways of east Ft Lauderdale, allowing you to see the backyards of the wealthy. The Captain narrates the entire journey with a wonderful sense of knowledge and witty... More

It is worth every dime. I really enjoyed it. Seeing the 20 Million dollar yachts were way out of my league. It must be nice to thrown your money into the river and watch it float. The tour guide is really entertaining, the island show in the Jungle is really fun. For the price, we were blown away. Good job... More
