Experience a little southern hospitality on this "All You Wish to Eat" BBQ Ribs, Chicken and Shrimp Dinner Cruise served family style with all the trimmings. Enjoy a pleasant and humorous commentary by the Captain about the many interesting sights and beautiful homes you'll see as we cruise up the New River, past Millionaire's Row, en route to our tropical isle to enjoy dinner and a hilarious Variety Show. The show is followed by a moonlit ride back to the dock. More than 18 million guests over the years have enjoyed the fun-filled, relaxing evening aboard. A unique evening you'll talk about, laugh about and always remember. There is nothing else like it. Jungle Queen also offers fully narrated daily Sightseeing Cruises up the historic New River past plush waterfront homes, downtown Fort Lauderdale, a bit of the Everglades and a stop-off at our tropical isle to see rare birds, monkeys and an alligator exhibition. The only true way to see Fort Lauderdale. « less

Our trip aboard the Jungle Queen was the fourth in the past 30 or so years. We were somewhat disappointed over some of the changes that had been made from the past. However, the boat ride was very nice with ample descriptions regarding the various homes, area, and yachts. The boat ride from the dock to the Jungle Queen Island... More

A very pleasant and informing rivercruise with lots of witty info.Enjoyed very much up to the visit to the tropical island. As an animal lover I was disgusted to see a very overweigt fat guy sit on a crocodile right where the vital organs are, lifting his legs from the ground while bending the animals head right back as far... We really had a nice time sightseeing the Venice of america, crew members are very friendly and helpful. Their tropical isle needs more animals but we enjoyed it and the alligator show was cool.

We went on the afternoon cruise (no dinner.) I can't really comment on the dinner cruise except to say that the boat itself is not in the least luxurious and eating dinner in such an environment is not enticing. Our guide was very informative and quite funny. The kids enjoyed stopover at their "private island". Be sure to take a... More

Take a break from the beach and let your sunburn heal. This is a great tour of some of Fort Lauderdale historical locations and homes of the rich and famous. The tour boat captain will point out the sites with some humorous stories. Halfway through the trip you will stop at their private "Island" for snacks and an alligator show,... More

We did the 3 hour morning cruise with no meal. We were a party of 4 (2 adults, 2 children (10,13)). We all enjoyed the trip and felt it was worth the money. This trip allows for you to see the canals and parts that you would not be able to see just by driving around. The main theme of... More

Boat was old and in need of a good scrubbing. Bathrooms looked clean but smelled moldly. Staff was friendly, knowledgable and funny but for what it is used for it is suffice. The island itself isn't all that big or what it appears to be but it was a fun getaway for kids.

Usually I would never comment on something like this one, but since I did not ask for a refund from the Jungle Queen management, I felt compelled to leave this necessary warning to anyone remotely interested in trying this as an entertainment event. The cruise up the New River is nice, but the commentating from the Ozzie character gets a... More

The river boat cruise is a great way to check out Fort Lauderdale's finest sights. The dinner cruise includes all-you-can-eat ribs, chicken and shrimp, with all the trimmings of a good BBQ dinner. The tour guide Ozzie is pretty funny, with some corny jokes but overall entertaining. The tour lasts about 4 hours; 1 hour each way, 1 hour dinner... More
