A "Must" in Fort Lauderdale for 78 years! Experience a little southern hospitality on this "All You Wish to Eat" BBQ Ribs, Chicken and Shrimp Dinner Cruise served family style with all the trimmings. Enjoy a pleasant and humorous commentary by the Captain about the many interesting sights and beautiful homes you'll see as we cruise up the New River, past Millionaire's Row, en route to our tropical isle to enjoy dinner and a hilarious Variety Show. The show is followed by a moonlit ride back to the dock. More than 18 million guests over the years have enjoyed the fun-filled, relaxing evening aboard. A unique evening you'll talk about, laugh about and always remember. There is nothing else like it.

Jungle Queen also offers fully narrated daily Sightseeing Cruises up the historic New River past plush waterfront homes, downtown Fort Lauderdale, a bit of the Everglades and a stop-off at our tropical isle to see rare birds, monkeys and an alligator exhibition. The only true way to see Fort Lauderdale.

Nice Afternoon

I went on the Jungle Queen 20 years before this journey and not much has changed. Great way to spend an afternoon seeing how the other half lives. We sat indoors on the way to... read more

we are locals, so sometimes forget about the " tourist attractions " that are close by - a return trip to the JQ was fun, the staff were really friendly, amazing to see how much the city has grown over the years, great views of the waterways, luxury mansions for days, and just a different view of this great city,... I went on the Jungle Queen 20 years before this journey and not much has changed. Great way to spend an afternoon seeing how the other half lives. We sat indoors on the way to the "island" and the sound was a bit crackly. It was better on the upstairs deck on the return. One suggestion would be that I... More

Large river boat with good views on top level. Interesting to learn about the expensive homes; nice to be out on the water. Good, humorous narration on the boat. What I liked most was the short visit to Jungle Island where we walked around and saw birds, alligators, and other jungle animals. Even watched someone wrestle an alligator! Had the... More

We have been on this cruise before. We did the evening dinner cruise. The commentary on the intercoastal is fun and entertaining. Then they take you to an island for an all you can eat BBQ with shrimp, chicken and ribs, along with accompaniments. The food is good, not great. It is served family style. After dinner there is a... Such a pleasant cruise with narration by experts in who lives where, how the area was built up, where the money comes from to build such breath-taking homes. I'm sure none of the people on our cruise could even imagine such opulence.

It was our last day in fort Lauderdale, they said thunderstorms throughout the day so we weren't sure what to do. We were close to Bahia Mar, and so we walked there and found this afternoon cruise. Original price was $55 but we got it on groupon for $33 (for 2 people). A 4h cruise through the canals of Fort... More

The cruise was nice and relaxing. The bar on the cruise is cash only but very affordable , plus Damon is very nice. When you get on the island, all the employees are very nice. Jonathan, the alligator wrestler, was hilarious and awesome. Great for family and friends

I feel that this has been extremely overrated on this site. It was a beautiful tour of the homea, at least the first half hour of the 90 minute tour but the last hour felt like it was just killing time. It is always fun to get on a boat cruise, but it wasn't an amazing time. The margaritas are... More

My friend and I who are both Fort Lauderdale residents decided to tour our own city by cruising on the Jungle Queen River Boat. The boat ride itself was fun - we sat outside so it was difficult to hear what the guide was saying, but it was such a beautiful day that we couldn't resist. A guy who works... More
