Well worth the money. Did not do the supper just the day trip. Very good staff. The captain knew quit abit of history of the area. The stop at the wildlife area was ok. Just birds and a aligator guy, but i like that kind of stuff. Overall very good. more

Great views of intercoastal waterway including millionaires row. The seats are real basic so they are ok. The tour operator is ok at best. When available, the details of some of the mansions are excellent. We could do without the repetitive cliches and how many times in an hour can they hock their photo album. The island stop is wholly... more

The afternoon trip we were to take on the Jungle Queen was cancelled. However, it was not cancelled until after we (and several other passengers) were left sitting on the boat for over 30 minutes after the trip was to start, and with no explanation as to what was going on. Then the boat captain announced that he could not... more

The ride itself is ok and we enjoyed wonderfull view over the canals, majestic mansions, downtown, port. Unfortunately, for us as European tourists the information about all house keepers and owners told by captain was not clear. We didn't know all those names and stories. Also telling the prices for this or that house was not relevant. The short stop... more

It was a horrible trip and the island is not even an island. The boat needs maintenance as well. Very boring for small children. more

I must say, this is one of those Ft. Lauderdale must- at least the dinner cruise. You leave during sunlight and the boat ride back is just refreshing at night. The boat ride to a secluded island is very nice- they point out all of the celebrity houses as well as say hello to all the bridge attendants- which has... more

By all means on your visit to Fort Lauderdale, visit the Jungle Queen. You get to see houses of the rich and famous, and they are fabulous. But the best is when they unload you off the boat and you get to "chow down" on great, delicious tasting barbecue ribs, barbecue chicken and shrimp. It's an "All You Care to... more

This is a mainly pleasant three hour ''cruise'' around Fort Lauderdale's many rivers and canals, showing you where the rich and affluent people who have ''made it'' spend their weekends and holidays. The captain is knowlegable about the area. The unfortunate things about it are as follows; 1)If you are not American or for that matter natives of Fort Lauderdale you... more

A friend and I took this cruise on July 15, 2009. What an adventure! We had a fabulous time. After reading some of the reviews posted, I was a little skeptical. The narrator (crew mate) was great---he has a NY sense of humor and no one should ever be offended--this is how NYers are. He narrated our @4 hour trip... more

Jaded New Yorkers looking for a relaxing diversion for the last day in town. Found the Jungle Queen, read the reviews, and didn't know what to expect. Had a great time. Of course the narrator was corny - that's the point! He was funny! The island stop was fun too. Well cared for birds eating a nutrious feed mixture. The... more
