Love the layout of this convention center and the decor is really awesome! The carpet looks like underwater sealife. The Ball rooms were spacious and the meeting rooms and food vendors conveniently located but they need more restrooms on the second floor!

Spacious and easy to locate. Parking pricey. The walkway from the garage parking to the main hall is interesting. Located at the port in Ft.Lauderdale. I've attended many events here: the Home Show, educational events, car show. The outdoors is beautiful with seating ...sunny..breezes off the ocean...

This convention center is huge!! It's located in the Port of Fort Everglades and you MUST have ID to get inside. Without ID, you won't be able to get it. The port Authority is very strict. They have bathroms every where. They have 3 different Huge rooms. I have been there this past weekend and the convention was held for... More

I have been here twice. Once for a car auction and once for a home show. Nothing outstanding. Just another convention center with a confusing parking garage. The one exception is the inconvenience of showing photo ID because it is located within the Port of Fort Everglades.

Very hard to find with no signage from any of the streets. Cramped location. Once you find the entrance to the garage, you have to go through security like you were boarding a cruise, complete with searching the car trunk, plus everyone in the car showing ID, and very long slow lines. The parking garage is dark, tight parking spaces,... More

Typical convention center, but food offerings here were awesome. Parking was minimal at $12 a day. Access was a pain though as you are entering the shipping port, so you compete with cruise traffic, and also have to go through security each day. The convention center staff were very accommodating to our asphalt group, I hope we come back to... More

A badly designed building squeezed into a hard to access area with few nearby hotel rooms or restaurants and harder than need to be access from the airport if one has a chance not to go they should avoid.

What can one say, it's a convention center. I've only been there for the Home Show's, it's average and serves its purpose. Food is NOT good, as expected from such places. Another commentor mentioned having to go thru the port to get to it, I didn't. I entered from 17th St. Causeway and just parked? The street it's on does... More

Other people commented on how strange it is that you access the convention centre though the same entrance as Port Everglades. No big deal once you realise that you need to do this. Was like an initiative test (we failed it) to find your way in to the centre from the parking as the signs are seemingly non-existent. There is... More
