When I lived in Ft. Lauderdale 10 years ago this was on of the places to go in the evenings. We were just back visiting for a weekend and stopped by here and it looks really run down. There are no shops and just a few restaurants there now. This is where the riverfront cruise leaves out of, but I... More

10-15 years ago, this was the place to go in Fort Lauderdale. The area was busting full of stores, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and street entertainers. It's basically a deserted destination now. If you aren't going to Tilted Kilt or Briny's, then don't bother. Saturday night at 11pm it was like a ghost-town. I remember going there and not being able... More

Las Olas has been compared to the Rodeo Drive of Ft. Lauderdale and for good reason; lots of shops, bars/cafes and restaurants. The prices won't break the bank but it will be window shopping only for the bargain hunter.

It was great when it first opened. But now it's very boring and most of the shops are closed. Avoid at night if possible. Lots of shady characters.

Las Olas is a nice place to walk around while in Fort Lauderdale. There are several nice restaurants and outdoor cafes. A good place to people watch. There are also some nice shops.

This is a fun place to go and have lunch on the water while enjoying the view. Also, parking is available and easily accessed.

Ft Lauderdale's downtown area, runs along new river. Los Olas is the street that runs from downtown to the Atlantic Ocean. We have the court house, many restaurants, stores, banks, hotels, mansions, condo's.

Probably used to be good. Lots of empty units, even the tourist info place was closed! Wouldn't bother to go again.

Las Olas Riverfront is a great place to visit when in Fort Lauderdale. There are plenty of restaurant and bars along the strip and comfortable places to take a seat and chill. You drool over the multimillion dollar yachts in the waterways. It feels like the Venice of Europe.

The Las Olas Riverfront is best visited between Thanksgiving in November and May when it's the tourist season and everything is buzzing! Great shops along Las Olas and Restaurants, but again after the end of May with many of the US tourists gone it does appear to become a little quieter, although that might be an advantage if you are...
