I had never been to the Los Olas Riverfront when a friend recommended the Sunday Jazz Brunch. Reading the other reviews here, it's as if I went to a different venue? The place was packed! There were people everywhere! Families gathered under tents, on blankets, in groups of chairs and lounges. Food of every kind being served. Kids playing games.... More

A shadow of its former self. Many closed restaurants and shops. Too many sketchy characters and bums hanging around. It still has a multiplex movie theater and the docking point for the delightful Riverfront Cruise is located here. Otherwise, don't bother visiting this complex.

We note that several reviewers observe that Las Olas had "lost" some of its tenants and charm. Summer daytime festivals are still vibrant. Las Olas still seems a good bet for families, couples and singles during the day or night. Be aware of where you park your car (in order to return.) Safety does not seem to be an issue.... More

Was there 7 yrs ago & it was the place to be. Vibrant; plenty of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shops, etc. Came back last night (nov. 2013) with my wife & child and can honestly say it was scary being the only people walking around in the dark, along with the 3 homeless people. Up the street is where its happening.... More

So much for "Pop Up" Las Olas Riverfront. We are a 7 year established business owned by a disabled veteran.....We agreed to pay their asking rent for a small retail unit. We had excellent commercial rental history, credit worthiness and an excellent product. But they turned us down and said "We don't want that kind of business associated with the... More

LAs Olas Riverfront offers many attractions and is a must for any traveler to Ft. Lauderdale. There is something for every member of the family from movie theater, eateries, Museum of Science and an Imax theater. The eateries are great and there is something for every palate. Be sure and take a scenic and informative riverboat tour of the riverfront.... More

This place has seen better years sadly. When Off the Hookah left, so did the traffic. Now the place is a little run down with not much going on. It is ok to walk around in during the day as it can be quiet peaceful and calm. They are trying to turn things around with having more activities to bring... More

There is nothing in the so called river front. It really is scary to be there all alone with a bunch of empty buildings arouns you. Move up a couple of blocks to find some entertainment but not much.

Run down...although the riverfront is attractive and there is a good small pizza place that's good. With a little maintenance the place could be a good destination point.

The Las Olas Riverfront looks like it was once a beautiful, thriving area. Sadly, as others have said, it now looks like a ghost town. Since it had been raining all day, we decided to see a movie. The Frank Theaters at LOR was the closest to our villa, so we decided to go there despite the poor reviews. I... More
