Our kids are 12 and 21 and we all enjoyed the museum. There was a great mix of things to see and do including some live exhibits. The simulated airboat ride was clever (and free). We wish we had entered the museum later in the day. We got there early afternoon and it was very crowded with school kids and... More

This was a rainny day visit, dispite several school buses of kids it was a fun time and not very cramped. Plenty of science exhibits and lots of hands on activities for kids. Only complaint was several of the aviation exhibits/hands on and flight simulators were broken, partly working or damaged. The air boat ride inside is no where near... More

Took my 3 year old this weekend and he absolutely loved it. What's not to love? Dinos, hurricane simulator, planes and ambulances to drive- everything my son thinks is "really cool". All around nice museum and great way to spend a few hours with the little ones.

We always love to visit here when we're in the area. The iMax theatre is also great. Well maintained facilities and a great place to beat the south Florida heat.

Our kids loved this place. We arrived about 1pm and stayed till closing even catching the South Pacific IMAX movie. The hands on interactive exhibits kept the kids busy the whole time. The goosebumps exhibit that centered on the fear response was a blast as was the health exhibit on the second floor. The otters were a no-show but the... More

If you have kids under 12, this is a place they can be kept busy and entertained for a few hours. Teens+ may not enjoy it as much or as long. It does get very crowded on the weekends. Best bet, if your kids are into hands on science museums, we get the annual pass and hit all the science... More

Lots of fun interactive stuff at this museum. We've been to a lot of kids museums like this around the country, and this is fun, easy access, and doable in a couple of hours. You could spend all afternoon just watching the otters. The virtual air boat ride was a little motion sickness inducing (this from someone who loves roller... More

This museum with different kind of sections is a great place to go. There is a lot to see and to practice as well. Not only for young people, but for all ages.

The Museum was fun for about an hour. I am sure if you have younger children the museum could entertain for longer but with two teens an hour was pushing it. My daughter loves Otters and we were all very disappointed in the lack of Otters, we stood at the Otter cage for 30 minutes waiting for an Otter to... More

My family was visiting Fort Lauderdale for a family vacation. We ran into several days of rain and needed something to do with the kiddos. WOW what a great hands on place. The kids and adults equally loved all the activities and learning opportunities.
