With the beach the biggest draw in this part of Florida, it's nice to have a diversion for the kids if the weather turns rainy.

The new aviation exhibit was scheduled and advertised to be open but it was not open. The staff at the ticket counter did not know that it was not open. Many of the plane simulators did not work. One of the jets that was working was occupied with one of the staff playing. The aquarium looked sad. Many of the... More

One of the most entertaining , family friendly museums I've ever attended. Great for all ages. Well designed and hands on activities. Friendly and welcoming staff.

We love this place. My family had three boys: 9,4 and a baby and all of them love coming here. They spend hours at the otter aquarium pretending like they are swimming with them. Swamp boat is fun as well. There are many things to see and touch, which is always great for kids. We love all of the stations... More

The weather being unusually dull and wet for Florida we decided to visit this museum. It was interestingly laid out and quite educational. I imagine that it would be a huge hit with children but is probably not erudite enough for adults.

As a south florida teacher we get a free annual pass to research ways to use the museum in our lesson plans. As a parent Iove how my son has enjoys the museum from age 3 to now age 12. Interacting with your child is a great learning/bonding/science experience. Children learn more, remember more, and get influenced to be more... More

My children now my grandchildren enjoy this place. One area in need of renovation in the back, things need to be a little easier to do and understand sometimes but I do enjoy it when I go.

A good day trip. Exhibits are interesting but much more enjoyable when there's less people in the museum (not with school groups). IMAX is an added bonus (but make sure that's included in your ticket). When special exhibits are on tour, the museum is much more fun.

My kids were very entertained with this museum. It held many different themed exhibits to peek the interests of all kids. It wasn't as big as some museums I've visited but definitely enough to engage the children. An especially good activity for one of Florida's rainy days!

Very noisy, architecture not designed to welcome children. A good number of exhibits aren't working, some places badly need fresh paint . There is no logic in the way the various attractions are positionned, no suggested path. As adults we wondered what were the central ideas the museum wanted to highlight. Really very poor, old fashioned kind of museum. We... More
