I wanted to congratulate you guys for an awesome team and great work! I went to everglades in Jan. I know it is way too late for me to write this review, but honestly the trip hasn't faded from my mind yet. In fact I wish to come back again and stay in the hostel and go for more tours.... More

If you start your Everglades visit with the Anhinga trail, you will see so many gators, turtles, fishes and birds that going further south to the Flamingo visitor center, you might prefer to choose a boat tour going in the Florida bay where you might see manatees (we did)and dolphins among other things. Inland boat tour will be partly similar to what you saw... More

Amazing! Our (barefoot!) guide was a former gator-tagger and has caught pythons (it's allowed because they are proliferating, thanks to idiots who let their unwanted 'pet' loose in the Glades) so we were in good hands. Kayaking in the morning was fabulous, and the gators were very close but not all riled up. We saw birds that watchers would freak... More

We went on the morning paddle and mud walk today with guide Sean. After living in this area for years, we had never seen the Everglades like this and figured it was high time. Many of the other recent reviews described the experience well. We started with a kayak paddle at nine mile, where we saw lots of alligators, three... More

I happened to stumble across the Tours in the Glades website a couple of days before our trip to South Florida. I always wanted to visit the Everglades but if I had not taken the tour, I would have been pretty disappointed because unless you get out of the car and get muddy, you haven’t really seen it. My boyfriend... More

BE PREPARED: This tour is the real thing. You will be getting wet and dirty and coming in close proximity to alligators and possibly crocodiles and snakes..... and it is AWESOME! My girlfriend and I did the afternoon wet walk & kayak tour and we loved it! We arrived at the hostel and were warmly greeted by employees as well... More

My wife and I very recently took this tour as it was offered through the hostel we were staying in at the time. The tour now places among our favourite travel experiences. Our guide was Sean who was equal parts hilarious and very well reasearched/informed with regards to the everglades and it's inhabitants. We selected the afternoon kayak option and... More

Our tour started at the Everglades Hostel at about 8:00 AM. It is a flash from the 60's, hippy culture. Waterfall pool, hooka cabana, hammocks everywhere, outdoor eatting and camping tents everywhere. Everyone was so nice, and made you feel like you were a member of the family. Our guide was Sean, he was VERY knowledgeable about the south Florida... More

Though i wrote a review on the hostel which was similar I wished to air opinion here also to warn others. A chatty tour guide could be welcomed if they were telling interesting facts, JIll the guide did nothing but talk about her life and ask about ours as we tried to take in the everglades, she was also clearly... While we have been to the Everglades before, this was incredibly special! My son (10) was old enough to finally experience a full day inthe wild!!! What a treat for all of us, but especially him. The tour guide was so knowledgeable - he answered all of his questions - this guide was actually trained to take children on such... More
