We were lucky enough to come across this delightful community theatre and catch the opening night of Inherit the Wind. The theatre is in the historic district, a few blocks off Centre Street. The performance was well done and, given its size, there isn't a bad seat in the house. Of particular note was the welcoming staff and friendly atmosphere.

The Amelia Community Theater is beautiful and comfortable inside and the performances are amazing! It's a draw not only for the local community but for visitors and those in the region. Hard to believe that it's a community theater experience, it's that great!

This is a great local Theatre, amazing for a small town to have not only a great new purpose built theatre, but local talent to produce some great plays. I have seen about 8 there now, and always an interesting and entertaining production, Just a few blocks from Centre street, so we enjoy a casual dinner out on the town... More

Over the last five years, have been to several Plays and Musicals at this theater, and as with any performances, some are great, others good, and a few bad. This is a new building with up-to-date seating and lighting. Wine can be purchased before and between acts. There is an art gallery in the lobby area that is interesting. Dress... More

We saw "Always A Bride," a comedy. It was really fun. We like to go to community theaters whenever we visit a new area and we were not let down. We were welcomed kindly at the box office. They have some interesting upcoming shows. If I'm in the area, I would love to check them out again.

1) Always a Bridesmaid was cute. The actresses really put themselves into there roles, and it was quite entertaining.2) The reservation process was a breeze.....Thanks Kim.

In town for a week, we happened onto the opening night of this absolutely charming production. Staged in a lovely local theatre, it was a stellar production of a super fun play!

It is a small theater made up of mostly volunteers, they do a good job with what they have and put their heart into it.

This is a local theater that draws talent from the community. While it is not Broadway it was an enjoyable way to spend an evening, and only $20 each. We saw BINGO the winning musical. So while the singing was a little off at times the personalities made up for it. I had a good time, would go again.

we were on Amelia Island for labor day weekend and looking for interesting things to do/see. We say the play being offered and brought two tickets for what was its final show. The play was well done for community theater though the singers missed a few notes. It was funny and we even got to play 3 games. The theater... More
