After leaving a message for Rita on voice mail, I waited 3 days with no return call. The second time I called, she answered the phone and seemed extremely scattered and did not remember receiving my message. I told her we would be on Amelia Island for my daughter's 10th birthday and were hoping to arrange something special for the... More

Rita is great. She makes her guided tour of historical downtown Fernandina Beach interesting with facts and humor. Her concern for the well being of her horse is evident in that she schedules tours over a five hour period and travels in a very leisurely pace. This allows plenty of time to provide interesting stories of the buildings and homes... More

Friendly people providing a great tour, worth repeating. They know the history, the area and deliver it with humor and wisdom. One wish is that he phone numbe was not in green as it makes it hard to read web on a cell phone. But the tour is so wonderful our family has loaded them into contacts. You won't regret... More

We had a short weekend getaway to Amelia Island. If you want a great overview of the history of the Island you need to take this carriage tour. Indy the horse, and Rita to tour guide will give you a great tour of the old towne. This history is amazing. Must do activity....make a reservation.

Our group of 4 decided, after looking about for a "ghost tour", to book a carriage ride with a ghost theme. Miss Rita offered us an appointment the evening after we contacted her and met us in front of the courthouse with her impressive horse, Indy, and her beautiful carriage. Excellent choice and one of the best things we did... More

Indy the horse was smarter than most humans. The tour is a MUST and you will be awed at every turn. The history of this town is special and it covers every question with historical fun facts

Great tour with interesting history of the area. Rita is very entertaining but Indy is definitely the star of the show! Such a well mannered and attentive gentleman!

We had Rita pick us up at our B&B, The Florida house Inn. She took us on a private tour of the historic district. We learned a lot of history and had a romantic evening ride.

Our dapple grey "horsepower" Prince was on his second outing and a great horse to follow through the city. His human companions were very interesting and knowledgeable about town and history. The route we were assigned was lovely; canopied streets with a variety of architectural styles among the homes. I sometimes hesitate with carriage rides because I often wonder about... More
