This was a great way to kill two birds with one stone! This running tour was the first thing we did on our trip- a great way to get oriented to the island, learn some history, and get your workout in on vacation! It was a wonderful way to start the day. Thanks, Rob!

Add me to the list of people who found this to be excellent. Rob will go at whatever pace is comfortable. He is very easygoing and knows his history well. No spoilers here, but I will say he has organized his presentation very well, around dates/flags/people/architecture and it's easy to follow and visualize all that he describes in the places... What a great way to get a workout in on vacation! My son and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing Rob's knowledge of Fernandina's history while jogging past many landmarks in the historic district. I would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends visiting the area.

I met Rob at 8am for a 3+ mile jog through the streets of the historic downtown Fernandina. I'm a slow jogger and he adjusted to my pace. I never felt rushed and I even stopped to take pictures as we weaved our way around town. The history was fascinating and he knows it all! Rob suggested heading over to... More

This was a great way to see the island. Rob knew so much about the island and was a great guide. The run was fun and easy, and we loved the whole experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique way to tour!

I am a runner, but my husband is not yet; we had a great time run/walking through the streets of Fernandina Beach. Rob is a born and raised local and tells a wonderful story of the history of the island. Much more fun than reading small plaques on a museum wall. Thanks Rob!!!

My husband surprised me with this running tour while on vacation. I was very happy to get an early run and history lesson in. I was worried about the pace of the run, but thankfully, it was perfect. Rob also checked in several times to see if we were ok with the pace, and that put my mind at ease.... More

This tour was such a unique and fun way to see this historic town! Rob was great. Friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and very accommodating. I am not much of a runner and he had no problems going at my pace, taking breaks to walk when when needed, and making me feel comfortable. If you are looking for something new to do... More
