Rode the airboat and went to see a ton of animals. We had a blast. Saw an alligator up close in the wild and flew through the mangroves. The park with all the animals was neat, especially the alligator show where the guy puts his chin on the alligators mouth. Everyone held an alligator. Fun for adults and kids. Get... More

We decided to book an hour airboat trip through the everglades mangroves plus the 30 mins grasslands tour. The mangroves part was executed by captain jacks and was superb fun. Our captain Zig took good care of us and showed us the neat places with gators and racoons. A lot of fun during the speed parts and the circles. The... More

It was fun because he really drove fast but there was no information given other than the size of the gator. No information about birds or plants etc....

A good long ride through the Everglades with a Captain that knew what he was doing. And the lady at the dock with the alligators was just the best. But there's no commentary - unlike the Everglades City Tour we took the week before. And on this trip we realized what a difference that made. So yes, Captain Jack's is... More

We only waited for a few minutes when our captain Kenny arrived. He was really friendly and an amazing airboat driver - he sped through amazing areas, and found three gators and two handfuls of raccoons for our family of five. Playful and really great ride - we got so close to a huge gator that we could have touched... More

if you are expecting a natural history tour with a detailed breakdown of the wildlife, then this isn't for you. however, if you are after an exciting thrilling ride with the chance to see the mangroves, gators and wildlife with wind blowing through your hair it's fab. my daughter, 15, and I saw several very large gators and Captain Robbie... On our way back to Texas, we stopped by Captain Jack's for an Air Boat Tour. We opted for the Magrove Tour and had Captain Dwain as our guide. We had a blast and Captain Dwain was awesome. Captain Dwain is from this area and gave us a brief history of the area. We were so close to the gators... More

We did 2 tours, the airboat ride and grasslands tour. The airboat ride allowed us to get a alligator right up to the side of the boat, very cool.... The grasslands tour was Better. We saw probably 20+ gators on it and very fun riding. I would definitely recommend this as a stop....

Here we got the combo package which gave you two air boat rides a buggy ride and entry to the animal sanctuary. At captian jacks you take the air boat ride that goes through the mangroves. We were able to hold a baby alligator and took pictures, then the boat ride which was tons of fun we got to see... More
