We did the mangrove airboat tour and had a blast!!! Jungle Ervs was great, we bought our tickets and had about 45 mins to kill beforehand, so we went to their boardwalk across the way (this is included in the price) and there we were able to hold baby gators and get up close to a larger gator named Lucky-... We spent a fun few hours taking an airboat tour through the mangroves. The alligator exhibit wasn't much but we did get to hold a baby gator. The boardwalk is a nice feature. The airboat operator was friendly and informative but the staff at the offices, not so much.

The gentleman driving the boat was experienced and I felt safe in his care. The boat ride was exciting but the wildlife was practically non existent. A single egret we chased around was all we saw. Some cheesy staged "alligator bones" And a rude gate keeper at the board walk put my whole family off. The whole experience was mediocre... More

we chose the 1 1/2 tour. the first hour was awesome. Our captain was flying through the mangroves. That was a blast. didn't see any gators just a few raccoons. Got off the boat, got in the car, drove a little way over the bridge and got on another airboat. there we did the exact same thing. this time the... More

Lovely airboat adventure with captain Johnny, and we even got to see a large male alligator up close. Captain was very passionate about what he did for a living and that made the tour all the more enjoyable. Lovely guy who has lived in the Everglades man and boy so he knows it all. He even told us where to... More

Went to Jungle Erv's airboat tours in mid April, which is apparently the worst possible time to see alligators out in the open among the mangroves (the gators apparently move to another area during this time of the year, as the salt water seeps into the mangroves). Still a great visit, though. Our guide and boat captain, Johnny, was a... More

We picked this place based in large part on it's reviews here and weren't disappointed. My son loved seeing the alligators before the trip, though we didn't make it all the way down to the boardwalk (note: double up on the bug spray in that area if you're like me and any insect in the immediate area flocks to you.... Not the cheapest option - 140$ for an hour for four- but good fun! Very informative guide, and fantastic to zip through the mangroves with the sun on your face! Saw manatees, raccoons and black vultures. One of the highlights of our holiday

We arrived around Noon. The first available ride was at 2:00. We purchased our tickets and drove off for lunch. So far so good. Capt. Johnny was great. He knew all about the area and shared information well. However we learned April is not a good time to see Gators. Seems salt water creeps in and the Gators don't like... More

Really really fun - the airboat whizes around at 45mph. However, The Airboat captains stop to feed Coca Cola to the raccoons - I don't think this is right.
