We did both the airboat and swamp buggy tour with Captain Steve. He is a fifth generation gladesman, and it showed through his knowledge of wildlife and the Everglades. We did the all day airboat tour, lunch was provided, and we got to go where no other commercial tour boats were able to go. We went deeper into the everglades... More

We took the swamp buggy tour. There was nothing swampy about it. We drove down a gravel road that a compact car could manage to drive down. We had to get off the buggy a couple of times to find a small area of water to check for wildlife. Not that fun when you weren't told you'd be walking through... More

We live in Florida and took family from up north to the everglades. Captain Steve is knowledgeable and passionate about the everglades. Dry season, but did drive and walk through swamp. Saw several animal species in 3-4 hour tour, one was endangered. Enjoyable, much better than typical short tourist rides. Not sure why there would be any negative reviews. Some... More

My family took both the buggy ride and the air boat tour with Captain Steve. It was neat to see the Everglades in two such different ways. If you are looking for a personalized , family tour, this is it. We are lovers of the outdoors and were able to arrange for a stop to roast marshmallows and hot dogs.... More

Absolutely beautiful tour of an area of Florida seldom seen by most and narrated by a descendant of the original Florida Pioneers. His unique ability to intertwine his narration with original history and "Floridian country" humor made this one of the best tours I have ever been on. Plenty of gators and wild life and a up close encounter with... More

I would recommend Captain Steve to anyone. In fact, I am planning another trip so I can bring my girlfriend, and she's a city girl. But she liked what my nieces said about Captain Steve, so she even wants to go. We want to come again. I just went on Captain Steve's Buggy tour. It was just what I expected,... More

We took this trip in dry season so there wasn't much to see in the way of wildlife but our guide Ken had a lot of stories and information to impart. We enjoyed the prospective of riding through the cypress forest andvsice it was the dry season there were no bugs. Would recommend just don't expect too much if your... More

Captain Steve -- Where do I begin? At first all seemed great. I spoke to Captain Steve on the phone around 2 weeks before I was to arrive in FL to book the tour. I booked my tour based on the company name "ADVENTURE" and a YouTube video he had made touting the 60 animals you can see -- mainly... More

My family and I recently took the swamp buggy tour of a lifetime. The trip was nothing but an absolute pleasure, and Capt. Steve was extremely knowledgeable about everything from plants to wildlife and even the ancient Indian legend of "Billy Concho." The swamp buggy itself was very interesting and extremely safe. We saw numerous birds, deer, and alligators along... More

This is an amazing adventure through the Big Cypress National Preserve in the Everglades. Captain Steve shared so much information about the preserve, animals, plants and more. This is a unique experience that everyone should do when they visit the everglades. You can tell Captain Steve has a love of his job and the Preserve. We were able to see... More
