We live in Naples Florida and when my grandsons visited we wanted to show them the best our area has to offer. We opted for a trip with Captain Steve as one of our adventures. It was not what we expected, it was so much more. Out in the middle of the Big Cypress National Preserve, after driving for a... More

I went out on one of your Swamp Buggies Sunday afternoon with Kenny Hill for a plant identification collaboration between Kenny and I . Even though Kenny and I were working to improve our knowledge, it was a GREAT day! Thank you so much Captain Steve for your generosity

My husband and I were down in the Everglades over Thanksgiving and happened to be strolling past Captain Steve while he and his family were sitting around his evening wood-fire. We were warmly welcomed and sat around talking for an hour or so, and let me tell you, the love that this man has for wildlife and the everglades just... More

Cliff Weeks was our guide-he knows the everglades. He took us on a great tour for 4 hours and we saw parts of the everglades most people never know exist. We would easily go on another tour with Capt. Steve's as he is known in the area to be one of the best...even by his competitors.

What a awesome adventure this was going to be: arrived early at our destination: Turner Rd and waited and waited for our tour guide: Otis. He arrived as well as another couple: we stepped on a cooler and up to a huge cool swamp buggy and off we went into the woods (1/2 hour late). Otis was very nice and... More

My husband, two kids and I had a great time with our guide Kenny Hill! We happened to come down right when the temperature dropped to 51 degrees in the Glades. Kenny waited patiently for us to find this REMOTE location through the mild showers. He went out of the way to get snacks for all of us to make... More

First trip to the Everglades on November 7, 2014. Let me start of by saying that we loved the tour provided by Capt Steve's Swamp Buggy Adventures. THE SWAMP BUGGY: The swamp buggy is a monstrously huge, open-air gas powered vehicle. It moves alongat a rather slow pace (which suits the purpose of enjoying the Everglades). This tour is not for... Went on this tour with 3 friends from Switzerland who have a hard time understanding English spoken with accents. Kenny's speech was articulate and easy to understand which made the tour very enjoyable for all. Kenny proved to be extremely knowledgeable and he drove with great care which was perfect for 70+ year old people. We had ordered a stone... More

My wife and I had a great 4 hour tour, going back about 10 miles into the swamp from our starting point. Our guide, Cliff, grew up in Big Cypress and knew the place like the back of his hand. We highly recommend the private tour. Cost a little more but worth it!

Went surfing on the internet to find an adventure in the everglades. Well, we found it. Since you have to use latitude and longitude to find the adventure, I knew it would be good. We meet our guide on the side of the dirt road. Guide Kenny Hill, who informed us of the do’s n don’t n there weren’t many.... More
