Great ride through the Everglades with guide Otis. Very informative concerning plants/trees, wildlife, geography, weather ... We were able to see Mama bear and cub, several deer, plenty of different birds, a few snakes and gators. 11 year old son had a great time. Quite rustic and off the beaten path.

Some memories fade, others remain. Our day with Captain Steve and the Everglades will stay forever. We booked a combo airboat and swamp buggy adventure in the pristine wilderness of the Everglades Sea of Grass and Big Cypress National Park. A whole day of amazing adventure with a 'real' Gladesman - a man full of knowledge and pride. This is... More

My boyfriend and I experienced the airboat tour, and it was AMAZING. The water was somewhat low, so we lost some small opportunities, but that's the beauty of nature being so unpredictable. We saw many birds, gators, grasshoppers (must of have mating season because these guys were EVERYWHERE), and we even got to check out some awesome cabins. Steve was... More

My whole family spent the entire day with Captain Steve and could not have had more fun. We started the day with an air boat tour through the Everglades. This was not the typical "tourist trap" air boat ride. We spent several hours touring the same waters the locals boat on, not just some predetermined run of the mill tour... More

Thank you Captain Steve for an excellent introduction to Big Cypress on your swamp buggies. Our group had a great experience touring through this beautiful landscape. In addition to encountering scientists doing research on native bats, we also saw panther tracks. That's when Captain Steve's crew quickly made a plaster-of-paris mold of the tracks for one of our group. A... More

Captain Steve is a great guy who really want you to enjoy your trip into the Everglades. We had a great day and saw lots of alligators and a pair of great horned owls! A truly unforgettable experience!

We came across Captain Steve on Tripadvisor, and it was totally worth it. We wrote some mails back and forth and met him today in Everglades city. He took us on a trip to the everglades. On the way there we got a looooot of information on the fauna and flora, the weather and the Eco-system . He was going... More

We did both the airboat and swamp buggy tour with Captain Steve. He is a fifth generation gladesman, and it showed through his knowledge of wildlife and the Everglades. We did the all day airboat tour, lunch was provided, and we got to go where no other commercial tour boats were able to go. We went deeper into the everglades... More

We took the swamp buggy tour. There was nothing swampy about it. We drove down a gravel road that a compact car could manage to drive down. We had to get off the buggy a couple of times to find a small area of water to check for wildlife. Not that fun when you weren't told you'd be walking through... More
