We took the mangrove wilderness tour and it was a wonderful experience. The boat only take six people and each person has their own seat so it's an intimate experience anyway; but we were extra lucky as my husband and I were the only two people on the tour so we had our own guided tour. The tide was low... More

Since we had done an airboat ride on our previous visit we wanted to experience something different and we were glad to find this on the western entrance of the Everglades National Park. At $30 each the 90 minute ride was a good value. We saw osprey nests and birds and learned a lot from the captain. At an area... More

I had the fear of my life on January 19 at around 315 pm.. I was fishing in my 14 foot Jon Boat in Indian Key Pass out of the channel and all of a sudden this huge boat aptly named the Shark appeared from out of no where and almost ran me down. The captain was wearing a large... More

A 90 Minuit boat tour of the 15000 islands from the Everglades to the Gulf of Mexico on a 70 ft covered pontoon boat. It's up to nature what you see but we have done the tour 5 times and we always see Dolphins cavorting around the boat and lots of birds. The crew are very good at describing what... More

We had an almost private tour. We had a large boat with maybe only 12 people. Our captain was funny and had a lot of knowledge about the area and the wildlife. Pointed out a lot of birds. In the canal there are always a lot of dolphins and we saw many! Jumping around and they came very close to... More

The backwater tour was wonderful, we were so happy that we found this alternative to noisy airboat tours. Already while boarding we saw manatees and a big crocodile. During the Tour we saw several birds and crocodiles, also a 7 inch baby crocodile. It was a beautiful journey into the mangrove swamps with a lot of information on it and... More

The Mangrove Wilderness Boat Tour was definitely the highlight of our trip to the Everglades. Captain Josh made the entire hour and 45 minutes entertaining and educational and navigated the twists and turns of the narrow waterway superbly. We saw a manatee, raccoon, aligator (right next to the boat) pelicans, osprey, great egret, snowy egret, great blue heron, roseate spoon... More

This is a great way of getting a glimpse of Everglades NP. The boat tour takes you through thousand islands to the gulf coast and back in ninety minutes. Along the way we saw lots of birds and mangrove covered islands. We encountered a pod of dolphins and the captain gave enough time for us to watch them play and... More

It was a chilly day so we didn't see as much wildlife as we might have otherwise. Dress in layers, its chilly in the winter. We saw a wonderful assortment of birds but no alligators or manatees. Our guide was very informative and the trip down the mangrove tunnels was definitely worth the trip.

If you love wildlife and want to see dolphins, birds and manatee's this is a trip for you. This was our second trip we took my father in law, this round. We saw two large pods of dolphins and a new baby dolphins amongst the group. The guides were great, knowledgeable and friendly, highly recommended.
