Wonderful boat ride with charismatic captain. We saw manatees and dolphins. Boat was covered, so if you're concerned about the sun or rain, you'll be just fine. There's also a place to store your camera or anything that can't get wet. Captain needs to brush up on knowledge of native Florida. Friendly and wanted to give us a great experience,... More

We were very excited and hoped to see some dolphins or manatees. When entering the boat of the 1000 island tours (5PM), we heared that the guides saw lots of them in the previous tour. But we did not spot one dolphin or manatee. Only two birds and that's it. So we were disappointed, especially for the price that we... More

From FLAMINGO Florida we went for a trip round the bay that lasted for an hour and a half. Although the cost wasn`t too high I cant say it was that great. We got to see quite a few osprey just as we were leaving the harbour then that was it for a bit. I accept that it was not... More

My wife and I learned much on our tour from Captain Teddy - he has a passion and gift for teaching about the ecosystem of the Everglades. We took the mangrove wilderness tour through the 10,000 island wilderness, visiting sea shell mounds in remote branches of this braided river system. It was fun and relaxing. We saw a few Dolphins... This trip was recommended by locals in Everglades City. We were glad to find a boat ride with a roof for sun protection in the record heat of June. The boat could accommodate a family member in a wheel chair. We saw dolphins, one manatee, osprey and spoonbills (most at a distance). You may bring food on to the boat.... More

We drove all the way from Fort Lauderdale for this tour, and we weren't disappointed. We took the Mangrove Wilderness tour, which is limited to 6 passengers per boat, so booking ahead is recommended but not required. The captain was young, but still very knowledgeable about the wildlife. We started out in the bay, and the captain found a pod... More

Captain Teddy was terrific during our tour of the mangroves. He provided a lot of interesting and educational information about the area. We were especially lucky to see a couple of alligators within inches of our small, 6-person boat! Be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen and insect repellent as you will be in the dark, murky areas of the... More

We had a very knowledgeable captain, the entire trip he was speaking which was very interesting. He took us next to many of the island into the Gulf Coast and discussed what animals we saw and the interesting highlights of the islands. Even some Dolphins came by and stayed with us or 20 minutes or so, even swam in the... More

My boyfriend and I took the 10,000 Islands tour back in April. This tour goes out into the gulf rather than into the swamp. We enjoyed it and I was hoping to see manatees but it wasn't the season for them so I didn't see any. We did see a lot of dolphins and osprey. Our guide was very knowledgable... More

We actually thought we'd be going through the swamps and back country, seeing the prototypical idea of the Everglades. This tour was basically through the canals with three different mangrove species lining the trip. Didn't make it a bad tour, just not what we thought it would be. Alex, the guide, narrator, and captain was pretty good. Knew a lot... More
