Let me start by saying the employees are wonderful and very knowledgeable. I spoke to many of them and they were all very friendly and helpful. Sammy Hamilton the supposed owner and self proclaimed owner of Everglades city sais everything I see belongs to him. Right. Lol. He told me that he has many government officials suckling his thumb. He... More

I think most people do this trip with unrealistic expectations. I was thrilled to get to see manatees on the trip. Despite the fact that I was mixed with another group(in which the lady was a total pain in the ***) I really felt sorry for our guide as he kept us out on our trip all the way up... More

We took the ten thousand island tour for 90 minutes on a fantastic day in early May and saw an osprey nesting, two bald eagles together perched on a branch on a one-tree island, a variety of birds, jumping fish, a manatee and several dolphins. The captain knew the area well and took time to search for wildlife. We loved... More

My husband and I just came back from the Marco Island area and we took this tour in April 2015. I am sure being a tour guide isn't the easiest job, but our tour guide was the pits! There were only 6 people on the boat at $40+ a head for 1 hour and 45 minutes. He didn't even ask... More

It's a nice boat ride, about 1 1/2-2hrs in duration. April is usually a good time of year to see wildlife, as it is the end of the dry season. However, there's no guarantee. We saw 2 or 3 baby crocodiles and a few birds. If you go next week, you might see more. But you'll probably get the same... More

There's not a lot to see on this pontoon boat ride. Sure we saw dolphins playing and a few birds. Unless you've never been on Florida waters in the shallows, you probably won't get much out of this tour. For what it is, it's a bit pricey.

I had a wonderful time! Captain Teddy is an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the Everglades' flora and fauna. I learned so much about the history and current state of both the culture and wildlife of the area. Captain Teddy is passionate about the environmental concerns of the Everglades and it was a great experience to be on this... More

We are nearby residents (Naples,FL) and have this as one of our favorite destinations when we have out of town guests. Part nature tour and part "thrill ride", the 6 person small boat tour is an up close and personal view of the mangroves of the ten thousand islands, with a variety of wildlife sightings including dolphins, osprey, tears, rays,... "Ten Thousand Islands" is a wonderful tour. We saw a lot of dolphins coming very close to the boat. We also saw ospreys and other birds. The view of calm water and green islands is fascinating.

We took the Mangrove boat tour, and had a fabulous time! We boarded a small boat, 6 passengers total, along with a park employee and set out on our adventure. Along the way, we saw many different birds and learned about the ecosystem that comprises the mangrove swamps. Once we reached the mangroves, it was like entering into a whole... More
