Despite cool weather, the guides gave a good effort and found us a pair of dolphins and a variety of birds, e.g ospreys, cormorants, pelicans royal turns, and especially interesting- a flock of white pelicans. worth the time and $.

We took the 1000 island tour, which used a boat with a roof (nice not to get too hot) and can carry dozens of passengers. Our tour consisted of about 20 people and lasted about 1 1/2 hours. The tour was scenic and took us around to see birds, and spotting dolphins and gave us some information about the mangrove... More

We were on a pontoon type boat. It was not noisy, like an air boat. The captain and guide were very knowledgeable. The tour lasted about an hour and we saw many things. We felt it was very much worth the cost of the ticket.

Speeding along in a "six-pack" boat (seats 6 people) ....my husband and I enjoyed touring Florida's everglades with Captain Teddy Craven at Everglades National Park Boat Tours. Captain Teddy possesses excellent knowledge of the wildlife and birds of the area. Taking in the experience of blue waters, blue sky and the breeze in our hair we cruised way out to... More

One of the best boat tours we have taken so far. Seeing dolphins jump around in a natural setting is pretty amazing.

Really enjoyed the mangrove tour. I have taken them in Central America and Asia, but I learned more interesting fun facts on this one. There are only 6 people in these tours so every seat has a great view. And, it is a tour that can be enjoyed by all ages. Just remember water and sunscreen because there was no... More

The tour guide stopped at every wildlife sighting to let us take photos and to give us information about the animal and/or habitat - it was enjoyable and educational. There is a small gift shop and visitor's center.

While planning our vacation to Everglades National Park we wanted to go on a nature boat tour and were not having any luck finding one that allowed a dog on board. When we arrived to the park and the Gulf Coast Visitor Center the staff was so helpful and we were so excited that our pet could come too as... More

Not saying it wasn't interesting, but it was still get on an boat with other people and head out to the 1000 island chain. You have a captain explaining the sites (there aren't many to see), identifying the wildlife-Egrets, White and Brown pelicans, Anhinga, Double Crested Comorant (all birds) and the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin. The trip takes about two hours.... More

We ended up a big catamaran with 8 passengers and two crew members, so we were free to more about. Captain was knowledgeable and good at finding and pointing out wildlife and explaining ecosystem (we now know lots about mangroves). He found a group of dolphins and induced them to come play with the boat and hide from us every... More
