We took the 1hr 45min Mangrove tour from the Everglades National park. We were a family of 6 with three children 4, 7 & 12. Initially we looked at the air boat tours that you could take outside the National park but in the end decided on this tour as it was on a boat with sides and it seemed... More

We were there for the third time and it was again a great tour and adventure. We started in the sun to grt out for the 10.000 Islands and dolphins. And in the end we had some at the back of the boat. By comming home to the little harbour it started raining, that much, that nearly everyone on the... More

Others have described how awe-inspiring the saltwater portion of the Everglades can be and my wife and I agree. Our tour guide was Captain Steve and his first mate, Gilligan. Just joking. Wanted to make sure you were paying attention. His first mate was Paul. Captain Steve guided us through the expansive waters, passing impressive islands of Mangrove Trees. He... More

This boat tour is a great way of seeing the edge of the Everglades and the water wildlife within. We seen plenty of Dolphins, Pelicans, Egrets and Ospreys. Excellent tour.

Wonderful boat ride with charismatic captain. We saw manatees and dolphins. Boat was covered, so if you're concerned about the sun or rain, you'll be just fine. There's also a place to store your camera or anything that can't get wet. Captain needs to brush up on knowledge of native Florida. Friendly and wanted to give us a great experience,... More

We were very excited and hoped to see some dolphins or manatees. When entering the boat of the 1000 island tours (5PM), we heared that the guides saw lots of them in the previous tour. But we did not spot one dolphin or manatee. Only two birds and that's it. So we were disappointed, especially for the price that we... More

From FLAMINGO Florida we went for a trip round the bay that lasted for an hour and a half. Although the cost wasn`t too high I cant say it was that great. We got to see quite a few osprey just as we were leaving the harbour then that was it for a bit. I accept that it was not... More

My wife and I learned much on our tour from Captain Teddy - he has a passion and gift for teaching about the ecosystem of the Everglades. We took the mangrove wilderness tour through the 10,000 island wilderness, visiting sea shell mounds in remote branches of this braided river system. It was fun and relaxing. We saw a few Dolphins... This trip was recommended by locals in Everglades City. We were glad to find a boat ride with a roof for sun protection in the record heat of June. The boat could accommodate a family member in a wheel chair. We saw dolphins, one manatee, osprey and spoonbills (most at a distance). You may bring food on to the boat.... More

We drove all the way from Fort Lauderdale for this tour, and we weren't disappointed. We took the Mangrove Wilderness tour, which is limited to 6 passengers per boat, so booking ahead is recommended but not required. The captain was young, but still very knowledgeable about the wildlife. We started out in the bay, and the captain found a pod... More
