Our guide, Rene, started us out early. We were a group of 5 from Belgium, Scotland, and Melbourne (FL). We had a great trip ... saw 5 alligators with one approximately 10-ft just swimming along. We toured mangrove tunnels, saw many herons, osprey, air plants, and great views of the landscape. Rene was very knowledgeable and hospitable. Thanks for making... More

This was a very great experience! The tour guide was very knowledagble and explained a lot of plants and wildlife. The region we covered started a bit boring but it got very exciting when we entered very narrow passages and even encountered in this narrow place a small alligator... It was fascinating! I really can recommend this tour!

We arranged our morning kayak tour through the Ivey house and didn't really know what to expect. We had a great time! We met at the hotel and took a van to the point that the tour would start. Tom was our guide and he was everything you'd want in a Guide. We were on the water as the sun... More

Took a morning tour through the mangroves that was an awesome experience! Our guide, Conrad, was quite young, but very knowledgeable regarding the wildlife and plant life we encountered during our tour. We paddled through a maze of Mangrove tunnels in close proximity of alligators. Saw and heard the loud calls of hundreds of birds during the early morning tour.... More

Rental outfit affiliated with the Ivey House B&B. You can book a tour at the front desk which several guests and us did. After a little safety prelim we were taken to the East River launch area and enjoyed a 3 hour guided tour down the river and back through Mangrove "tunnels". Plenty of fauna and flora including the requisite... More

We did the early morning "Kayak into a new day" (Eco Paddles) tour with Conrad. He was fun and patient with those who had never been in a kayak before (and it had been a while for some of us). I don't know how far we kayaked but we went through mangroves and open river for over 3 hours. It... More

Our afternoon kayaking in the Everglades was truly the highlight of our tour of Florida. Although we had booked a group trip, no one else had booked for that afternoon so we were lucky enough to have a guide to ourselves. Conrad was brilliant. He was friendly and knowledgeable, but understood that we wanted to be able to appreciate the... More

Our group of 4 took the Mid-Morning tour with Dillon and it completely blew away my expectations. Dillon was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, without being overbearing at all. He knew the mangrove area we explored very well and spotted wildlife we would have never seen on our own. We saw some beautiful birds and came very close to a few... More

My young son and I paddled on a private kayak tour on the Turner River with "DJ". From the time he picked us up at the Ivey House until he return us to the hotel, DJ was extremely informative and personable. He was an excellent guide, but he was an even better Naturalist. The Turner River paddle was a fantastic... More
