Description: For over 35 years, the Dunedin Fine Art Center (DFAC) has been offering...
For over 35 years, the Dunedin Fine Art Center (DFAC) has been offering exciting art opportunities in a most welcoming kind of way. St. Petersburg Times writer Lennie Bennett says that DFAC is “the artistic equivalent of a village square,” offering quality experiences to people of all ages. DFAC offers year-round exhibitions in four galleries featuring national, regional and local artists. Classes for students 4 yrs. to 97 yrs. fill 15 studio classrooms and a changing yearly theme makes the David L. Mason Children’s Art Museum a hands-on experience not to be missed. You can take some time to enjoy a delicious lunch or gourmet coffee in the Palm Café, or search out one-of-a-kind gifts in the Gallery Gift Shop. Come out and PLAY at the Dunedin Fine Art Center and see why people say it’s where the ART is!

Great art collections and wonderful classes available

Enjoy a couple of hours strolling this lovely art cente, or come spend time taking classes in all areas of art. Wonderful people here, too.

This venue is the host to many activities like art shows and concerts. Lynn and I particularly like to attend the Dunedin Concert Band events which are held at the Fine Arts Center. As many as 80 concert musicians have entertained on the Art Center stage. Dunedin brings so many excellent events to the community.

A nice gallery to take a look at and see what they have inside. Exhibits change and it is a great place to hang out. They offer great classes too. Great Staff.

The Art Center houses both a gallery with changing exhibits (I go for the quilt shows especially) and many classrooms for ongoing art classes for both adults and children. It is an essential part of our community, Dunedin, which is a quaint little artsy seaside town. The Art Center is on a huge property with parks, community pools, a community... More

Its been extended and at our visit we saw a number of local artists on show and to speak with. There were also a number of classes in operation making jewelry. A very pleasant visit for those withan arty bent.

The entry fee is a bit steep & senior rates should start at, perhaps, 50-years of age. That being said, it was worthwhile in that this night was the opening of community artist's work and a lot of effort had been put in to having neighborhood restaurants contribute food. I will continue to give this small art center a chance,... More

We're so glad you stopped by Wanderlassie. You must have been here during one of the special exhibits that we charge an admission fee for, due to the fact that the works are not for sale. These usually average one exhibit cycle out of our six per year (We are ALWAYS free to members). Stop by at any other time... More

DFAC is great. I live a block away and love to visit the various exhibits. There's a full range of classes to take if you live in the area. And if you don't, they also have one day or weekend workshops.

I visited with a friend for a special event of "PODS" studios. It was a wonderful experience. So much creativity. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Will definitely go again.
