I went out on the Sunset Cruise with Jason in the beginning of April. It was really an amazing experience!
Recently my family stayed at Hawks Cay Resort in Marathon, Florida Keys. The resort was beautiful, with lots of things to do for the adults and the kids. One night we took the sunset cruise with Sundance Watersports. It was absolutely beautiful Between watching a gorgeous sunset from the water and the great service provided by Capt. Jason and his... I took my parents who were visiting from out of town out on Blue (the boat) because another local had recommended sundance's sunset cruise. First let me say what a pleasure the crew was. Captain Jason was funny and made us feel comfortable and ready to have a great leisurely trip. The mate on the boat, Corie, was also incredible.... More
Took the sunset cruise with Captain Jason and First Mate Corie. Couldn't have been better. Very knowledgable and friendly crew. Fantastic catamaran with plenty of room. Did not get thirsty. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Duck Key area.
We did a half-day boat rental while staying at Hawks Cay. The entire experience was great. The staff at Sundance is very friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions. The operation is very professional and the boat was very nice. Would highly recommend renting a boat from Sundance.
We had signed up for parasailing before we arrived in Hawks Cay. Unfortunately, the seas were rough and the winds too strong for the tour to happen and it was cancelled. We still wanted something to do, and Cindy was great in recommending land alternatives. We chose the Segway tour and it was awesome! The best part is that all... More
We enjoyed taking a double kayak to the island for lunch and even did some snorkeling (which is diminished by the boats fishing around the wrecks which kick up a bunch of sand). Felt completely safe entire time. Staff were cautious about wind when we rented and although we didnt find it a problem you can be sure they won't... More
Went snorkeling with them. They told us once we got to reef that there had been hundreds of jellyfish in the morning and they were still there. Forty people only had 10 minutes in the water - unable to snorkel because of hundreds of jellyfish! Everyone got stung multiple times. No snorkeling. No refund. Hint: Ask about jellyfish situation BEFORE... More
One of our sons went on a 1 day class. Started in the hotelpool and finished at a reef in the sea, all in one day. He had agreat day.
Sundance rented us a cracked kayak, which filled with water before we reached the end of the perimeter channel. A resident on the channel helped us haul the kayak out and gave us a ride back. The staff seemed apathetic about the whole thing.
