Played here a few years back before the renovations. It was in decent shape and, unlike some of the other ones, a good value. Now the rack rate is way too high for the course (twenty less than Regatta? Really?) so it's not worth it if it's even remotely close to that rate. We got a deal and it was... More

We stayed here under the Wyndham time share. Whe we checked, no was was very knowledgeable about the Wyndham part of the property and did not tell about our discounts until I asked.Or amenities. The clerk that checked in had a great attitude. The other on the Bay club front dest were not nearly as pleasant or helpful. The room... More

I quit playing Emerald Bay a few years back because it had fallen into disrepair. They closed the course, redesigned and replanted everything. The results are good, but not great. The greens were ok but bumpy and did not roll true. Some traps were beachhead while others were concrete. A nice track, but I'll play Regatta or Kelly before returning.

Great course and great staff. I played back to back days and really enjoyed the layout. The staff knew my name on the second day. Very impressive!

Rented clubs (I think it was $30ish) and played after 1:00 so the green fees dropped to $49. Totally worth it and way cheaper than other courses in the area. Some fairways are narrow others wide. Bunkers were beautiful but shocking enough I never had to hit out of one. Greens were crazy fast yesterday.

There were some bad reviews of this course, but they are before the renovation. Not having seen the before, I can only judge the current. The course is in very good shape, the staff friendly and if you book on line, the price can be very good. Played it once and will likely play it again before we depart.

Please trash all previous reviews of Emerald Bay. The course and facilities have recently been totally renovated and updated. Emerald Bay is without a doubt the premier course in Northwest Florida. We live here and have played them all! The fairways which were always top notch are even better. All 18 greens were totally renovated and will see if you... More

The course has been remodeled. This was much needed and job well done. One of the best courses at the beach now. The course has been extended making it a little more challenging. Kudos to the remodeled course

The Emerald Bay Golf Club was a bitter disappointment. It is very unfortunate that I must leave a poor review for this course. The potential this golf course has is literally busting at the seams. (It may be time for a superintendent change.) Almost every part of the course was in great shape, the fairways, tee boxes, bunkers, facilities, and... More

I booked through golfnow for $20 per person for 18 on a cold, January day. I read all of the below reviews, and thought I made a mistake. I didn't - the negative reviews were over-stated. I played 3 other places in Destin this month, and I think it's called the off-season for a reason: greens and tee boxes are... More
