Henderson State park has nice staff and great facilities. The beaches are clean and gorgeous. The beautiful water was so clear and the color was so amazing it almost looked artificial. Pavilions provide space for showers and dressing afterwards and it's my favorite beach to go to. I actually camped at Rocky Bayou State Park across the bridge, which I... More

There is a $3 entry fee for visitors. Destin residents enjoy free entry. Pristine white sandy beach free of hotel umbrellas and crowds. Restrooms and showers are clean. Overnight RV parking available

For a mere $6 per car you can have a non-crowded day on the beach. Everything you need is right there: clean restrooms, views to die for and the perfect water. The riff raf is on other parts of the beach so your family is very safe.

We attended a wedding on the beach and had the reception in a pavilion. Everything was perfect. If you have never been to this part of Florida you must come. The sand is the whitest ever, the water emerald green. The staff of the park were very nice and helpful with the wedding arrangements. We come to Destin at least... More

We camped here for 3 nights and it was awesome. We were in loop B with a pull through site. It was close to the bath house and the beach boardwalk. The site offered privacy surrounded by vegetation. The beach was not crowded and you feel totally removed from civilization but are very close to many restaurants and shopping. We... More

It's such an amazing beach with white sand and very clear water! It's worth the 6$ you have to pay for entrance per vehicle but you don't have that much people around you as in Destin itself! The beach is extremely clean as well as the picnic areas and the restrooms!

$6 for a carload to get in. Clean bathrooms, and plenty of wide beaches. Don't have to worry about crazy, drunken folks, so it was perfect for our family. This was our second visit, and one of the only beaches we visit when coming to Destin. Just gorgeous.

We camped here and had a pull through site that was divided from other sites by natural vegetation. Not far to beach, grocery, to great restaurants and the HarborWalk as well as the SeaQuest dolphin boat tours!

This beach is beautiful and clean! Parking was not a hassle at all and the walk from car to beach was not bad at all. The showers were conveniently placed. I would definitely recommend this beach location to anyone visiting the area!
