Fantastic views and nice shops to browse. We ate at one of the restaurants and although a little pricey, it's a tourist spot so what do you expect! We've been there during the day and evening and if you're lucky there's some type of show going on in the plaza. Parking is convenient or you can walk all the way... More

We stayed in Sandestin & wanted to venture out to look @ yachts. We ended up with more than what we bargained for- 45 minutes of traffic & tight parking (@ 6pm) for what seemed like a state fair atmosphere. If you're staying near the Destin Harbor, it's a no-brainer. Go for it. kids will like all the carni-like games... More

We decided to go to the boardwalk and were half we did! There's plenty to do and see to keep you busy. We did not eat there since we went there in the evening but enjoyed the stroll just the same; the only thing we could have wished for was it being larger.

Enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks from the Boardwalk. Parking was a challenge. A lot of good restaurants, bars and shops. Jetski and paddle board rentals. Various fishing, snorkeling and dolphin trips. Or a nice walk along the harbor with all the boats, the view over Norriege Point etc.

There are lots of shops to walk though and look at. There are several restaurants with good food. Lots of boats coming and going are fun to watch. There are also harbor tours, and other rentals available.

A combination of boardwalk, carnival, great sightseeing place. Parking is a serious problem. If you can find a parking spot, you will find it was worth the effort. A great spot to have a drink and either people watch, boat watch, or beach watch. A must when in Destin.

I went with my 3 year old son. He loved the train ride and the man with all the exotic birds. We also enjoyed the fireworks over Destin harbor. Nice place for a stroll, wasn't impressed with the restaurants though.

Walking along the Boardwalk is a fun experience. The shopping is mundane, but the food is pretty great. The Fudgery makes a killer fudge, and they have a nice ice cream bar, too. It's a bit touristy, but I suppose that's what we were...lol.
