So much fun. Get there early. Park across the street. Just wander around and enjoy the sights. It gets crowded so be prepared. Long waits at restaurants

There are lots of restaurants, boat tours and some shopping (tourist variety) at Harborwalk Village. It is right behind the Emerald Grande where we were staying, so very convenient. Oh yes, Margaritaville, need one say more. Free parking.

Boardwalk is located on a nice stretch of the Emerald coastline. Several shops, cafes and restaurants on 3 levels. Nice view of the ocean, dolphins on occasion and sea birds. Only slight downside is you have a few people aggressively hawking various "adventures" - dolphin tours, fishing, etc.

It's right on the water at the best spot. The new Margaritaville is an added plus. The shops are very diverse. I always manage to get there when nothing is going on, but I think that's how I end up down there. When there's really nothing going on anywhere else, this area always is very consistent for shopping and dining.

We stopped on a Sunday to just see what was available and there are enough stores open even in low season and lots of interesting restaurants. Note...free underground parking.

This is a newly constructed boardwalk that connects the docks and businesses along the north-west corner of the harbor. People are friendly, dogs seem welcome, lots to look at if you like boats and "old Destin" atmosphere. Nice spot to stroll. Well lit and bathrooms, too.

We tried the zip-line and the 7-D attractions. They are a bit pricey, but well-worth for the experience!

We walked along the Harbor Boardwalk at different times and on different days and it was always fun. On New Year's Eve it was THE place to be in Destin and very crowded, but lots of extra attractions and live music kept the crowds happy and moving. It was an excellent part of our visit to Destin.

We took a Dolphin Cruise. The area was very nice. Lots of shops and great views. We parked in the parking garage. It was free but the parking spaces were very small. Seems like all of Destin was that way.
