Fun place to walk around.

Water front area to walk around, shops, places to eat and watch the charter boats come in and clean their catches.

I just spent today at this location and had great fun. My lunch at Margaritaville was delicious, appropriately priced, and the service excellent. The boardwalk has fun shops with a variety of merchandise. There are other restaurants and snack stops. You can book charter fishing trips, party boat cruises, or sunset and dolphin watch excursions. I truly enjoyed watching a... More

What a colorful harbor walk & an enjoyable way to spend a couple hours! Fishing boats, pelicans perched on harbor posts, powdery white sand islands across the water, shops, restaurants, & even a lighthouse are some of the sights. The huge, stunning "Kelly Magnolia" tree, with its branches spreading skyward, stands atop the entrance to the boardwalk. It lived to... More

The boardwalk was alive even early Sunday morning. The shops were beautiful and there were local craftsmen that sold one of a kind pieces that are not ridiculously expensive. The ambiance was good and even my teenager did not get bored! Lots of things to do including the dolphin sea tours that is spectacular. It is clean and well kept.... More

There wasn't much to do here besides eat and shop. The day we went there were not any dolphin tours going...and it was Saturday. The shops weren't really that impressive either.

Destin is one of Florida's most beautiful beach and sand areas. The harbor boardwalk is pretty touristy, but still worth a stop for the views. They also have one of the few Starbucks I saw on my coastal drive. Parking is a nightmare. I parked across the street, and walked over to the bridge into Destin to take photos and... More

It's a neat place, fun to walk and look at stuff, but in case the giant "Margaritaville" restaurant in the middle didn't tip you off, its just a giant tourist trap area. No genuine food or anything here. Lots of pretty bad pop music blaring everywhere you go though.

Gorgeous view of the crystal clean gulf ' perfect shops and dining areas. I would seriously suggest going to Destin and visit the harbor boardwalk.

This place sucks for bay watchers and HOG bikers. Music rocks on 24/7. This is the Panhandle Party Zone Number One. In summer evenings, they bring in the catch of the day. Don't miss your chance on getting iphoned with a dead shark. Sugar daddy's paradise too. For the rest who prefer the romantic side of the Panhandle: Better plan to... More
